Programs and Services

The WIC Program is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children funded by the United States Department of Agriculture.

Breastfeeding Promotion and Support provides initiatives that encourage and support breastfeeding at maternity and childcare facilities.

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) ensures that eligible children and adults who attend qualifying non-residential care facilities receive nutritious meals.
What We Do
The Nutrition Services Branch promotes sound nutrition habits among infants, children and women in their child-bearing years. Branch staff work with county, state and private agencies to improve health status.
