The bigger problem is how this gets marketed. Ads push a $39 “get started” price (the discounted membership fee) with no mention of the $99+ medication cost sitting on top.

Only one nutritionist appears to be on staff, with few open time slots pushed far out on the calendar. When I tried messaging the nutritionist directly, the chat redirected to the “Mochi Team” instead.

You can see the same provider every time if you want, but you can easily switch providers in your patient portal if it’s not a good fit. Mochi Health earns a perfect score here. Every support channel connected me to a real person with short response times. The clinical relationship is strong too: You see the same provider every time, and the level of detail in my consultation was the best I’ve experienced across all clinics I’ve reviewed.
KEY OBSERVATIONS
Chat starts with AI that handles basic questions, then routes you to a real person. My message got a human response within 24 hours. Clean, user-friendly interface.
My phone call was answered quickly, but the rep didn’t even know Mochi offers semaglutide microdosing and told me it was only available for NAD+. Not confidence-inspiring for a product question.
My provider was the most thorough I’ve encountered. She sent a full after-visit summary with everything we discussed. The formatting was rough (obvious copy-paste wall of text), but the substance was there.

However, when I called as a prospective patient asking about semaglutide microdosing pricing, the agent didn’t know the plan existed and told me microdosing was only available for NAD+. That’s incorrect. I posted a screenshot of Mochi’s own GLP-1 microdosing option to confirm.

Email at hello@joinmochi.com technically exists, but I got no response for over a week. Mochi’s own site tells patients that the quickest way to get help is by phone or portal chat, essentially acknowledging that email isn’t reliable.
Clinical Access & Oversight Good
You see the same provider at every visit, which creates genuine continuity. My Google Meet consultation was the most information-heavy appointment I’ve had at any GLP-1 clinic. The provider was a bit late and clearly reading from a script, but she was thorough and answered everything. You can message your care team anytime between visits, and if you’re unhappy with your provider, you can switch directly in the patient portal. Video visits happen every six months, and monthly progress questionnaires are required to continue medication.

How well shipped and packaged are the medications?
Mochi’s packaging is creative but raises practical concerns. The medication arrived inside a branded metal water bottle with thin ice packs, and I shook the bottle before realizing the medication was inside (peptides should not be vigorously shaken because doing so could disrupt the medication’s stability). Tracking and delivery were flawless, but instructions and insulation fell short.

The medication shipped with two thin plastic ice packs inside a Mochi water bottle. There was no insulated foam box or proper insulated packaging. The medication did not appear particularly cold when it arrived. The ice packs were the only temperature control, and for injectable peptides, that’s cutting it close.
Packaging Quality & Security Minor issues
Here’s where it gets complicated. The packaging was branded and visually impressive: a metal Mochi water bottle and branded baggie, the medication in a tiny box inside a ziplock. But I didn’t know the medication was inside the water bottle. I was shaking it trying to get the ice packs out. Peptides are fragile molecules that should not be shaken. The ice packs were also loose enough around the medication to jostle it during transit. The medication was secure inside its small box, but the overall design prioritized branding over safe handling.
Supplies & Instructions Minor issues
Extra supplies were included in the box, which is a plus. However, all instructions come via a QR code only. No drug information sheet, no printed injection guidance, no temperature storage details. A QR code assumes you have your phone handy and are comfortable scanning for medical instructions, but first-time injectors or the less tech-gadget savvy among us may prefer analog instructions.
Tracking & Delivery Perfect
Tracking is available in email, the Mochi app, and the patient portal. My medication arrived in two days, exactly as promised. Nothing to complain about.

How honest is Mochi Health in its policies and communications?
This is where Mochi Health loses the most ground. A 66/100 reflects a pattern of issues: pricing that’s partially transparent but partially hidden, media logos with no links, pop-up pressure tactics, a cancellation process that left me uncertain, and zero disclaimers for medications not fully supported by science. None of these are deal-breakers on their own, but they add up.

Operations Breakdown
Cancellation and Post-Cancellation Billing Minor issues
There’s a cancel button in the patient portal, which is better than most clinics. However, after I clicked it, the cancellation didn’t appear to go through. I had to reach out to support, who later confirmed the cancellation. I’m concerned about what would have happened hadn’t I followed up. The Terms of Service also state that “emailing hello@joinmochi.com does not count for cancellations.” One nice touch: When I went to cancel, a pop-up asked if I wanted to change providers instead, with a selection to choose from. I haven’t seen that at other clinics.

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide pricing is transparent on the website for 1-month, 3-month, and 12-month plans (the 6-month option is missing from the listing). But once you get past those two medications, pricing disappears. Brand-name options like Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, and Zepbound show no prices anywhere. Supplements and additional medications are only visible inside the patient portal, with no pricing until you formally request a prescription. You shouldn’t have to commit to a request just to find out what something costs.
