BEFORE WE DIG IN

Before reviewing, I signed up with Henry Meds, recorded the process, and gathered the key info you need to see if it’s a good fit. This review follows NNC’s Price & Trust Transparency Score methodology, which evaluates providers across true cost analysis and safety & legitimacy.

Disclosure: I’m a paid contributor to NutritionNC.com and was not compensated by Henry Meds for this review.

Step 1: Choose your medication and start the intake.

Head to Henry Meds and select a treatment. Fair warning: The website has multiple intake paths depending on which page you enter from. The pricing may or may not appear, and refreshing the page can change the results entirely. Only semaglutide injection pricing showed up consistently for me.

Step 2: Complete the health history questionnaire.

The intake itself is short. It collects your personal health history and gives you the option between an asynchronous and a synchronous provider evaluation. Nothing unusual here.

Step 3: Pay the $30 consultation fee.

This is a one-time, nonrefundable fee. You pay before being evaluated, which is standard for most telehealth clinics.

Step 4: Get evaluated by a provider.

My provider did not auto-approve me, which I actually appreciated. Instead, she reached out asking about my preferences to build a personalized care plan. I would not have received a prescription without responding, so stay on top of your portal messages with this clinic.

Step 5: Respond and receive your prescription.

After responding to my provider, I received a prescription the same day. The turnaround was fast. However, after responding, the provider closed the chat, so I couldn’t ask follow-up questions. Any further communication requires contacting support separately.

Step 6: Receive your medication.

Medication ships with two-day delivery via UPS. Tracking is available through email and the patient portal, though the in-portal tracking froze on my order and never updated. The UPS tracking worked fine.

Step 7: Connect with your health coach.

A board-certified health coach is automatically assigned to your case. You can book one-on-one sessions directly in the portal. Availability looked strong when I checked.

Step 8: Monthly refill surveys for ongoing care.

Ongoing treatment is managed through monthly refill surveys reviewed asynchronously by a provider. If you need a live visit, you can request one.

For my review, I tested and scored Henry Meds across six key areas that matter most: true cost, legitimacy, patient support, shipping standards, transparency, and real customer feedback.

Here’s everything I found:

60

True Cost Analysis

How clear and fair is Henry Meds’ pricing?

Henry Meds’ semaglutide injections cost $297 per month, which is competitive. Bundle discounts can bring the per-month cost down further if you commit to paying for 6 or 12 months all at once.

The real problem is locating that price. It’s buried in an FAQ on pages like “Weight Management,” shows up inconsistently depending on where you enter the site, and sometimes disappears entirely after a refresh. For most medications beyond semaglutide injections, you can’t see pricing without a provider review first.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Pricing appears in FAQ sections on some pages, but it only shows the lowest bundled price for semaglutide injections without clearly stating which medication it refers to.

Semaglutide injection pricing ($297/mo) is the only treatment that consistently shows a price. Everything else requires an appointment to see costs.

For most medications, the intake flow requires you to schedule a provider appointment or review before you can learn what you’ll pay. That’s not transparency.

Pricing Breakdown

Included

Lab work is included but not required. Henry Meds partners with Quest and Tasso for lab services. You can start treatment without waiting for blood work.

There is no separate membership or platform fee. Your cost is the medication price plus a one-time $30 consultation fee.

Only compounded semaglutide injections show pricing at checkout. Bundle discounts are available (6-month and 12-month commitments) for those willing to pay the total in advance.

All other options above require a provider review before pricing is revealed. This lack of price transparency is more than just inconvenient — it undermines the ability for patients to quickly assess affordability before committing their time and personal health information.

  • Coaching and lifestyle support A board-certified health coach is automatically assigned to your case. You can book one-on-one coaching sessions, choose your preferred format (email, webinar, or live), and set personal goals. This is included with every plan at no extra cost.
  • Nutritional support Henry Meds does not offer dedicated nutrition support or meal planning services.
  • Doctor consultations The initial provider evaluation costs $30 (nonrefundable) and can be asynchronous or synchronous. Ongoing care is handled through monthly refill questionnaires reviewed remotely by a provider. Live follow-up visits are available on request.
  • Shipping Two-day shipping via UPS is included at no additional cost. Tracking is available through email and the patient portal.

Safety & Legitimacy

Is this provider trustworthy and properly licensed?

Henry Meds checks most legitimacy boxes: LegitScript certified, HIPAA compliant, verifiable US address, and licensed prescribers listed publicly through Colchis Medical Services PC. But one finding stood out during my research. The pharmacy partner disclosed to me, Tailor Made Compounding, traces back to a prior entity with a disciplinary record, and Henry Meds does not disclose its full list of pharmacy partners.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Henry Meds holds active LegitScript certification. This is the industry gold standard, and its certification checks out.

Tailor Made Compounding LLC entered a federal plea agreement related to unlawful interstate distribution of compounded drugs, and its Kentucky permit expired in 2021 with discipline on file. This initially raised serious concerns.

Licensed medical providers are listed publicly through Colchis Medical Services PC. Provider credentials are publicly displayed and verifiable.

Credentials Breakdown

LegitScript Certification Verified

LegitScript certification is the industry gold standard for online healthcare providers, and Henry Meds’ certification shows it meets rigorous standards for safety, compliance, and trustworthy online practices.

HIPAA Compliant Perfect

Henry Meds’ HIPAA privacy notice is clearly posted and easy to find on the website. No issues here.

Clean Provider Records Major issues

This is where Henry Meds loses points. The pharmacy partner disclosed to me was Tailor Made Compounding. However, Kentucky Board of Pharmacy records show that Tailor Made Compounding LLC (permit #P07728) entered a federal plea agreement for unlawful interstate distribution of bulk compounded drugs and for introducing unapproved new drugs into interstate commerce. Under Case No. 21-0193A, the pharmacy was fined $5,000 and agreed it would not reopen or own any facility requiring a Kentucky pharmacy permit. That permit expired March 3, 2021.

While Tailor Made Compounding is the pharmacy name Henry Meds provided to me, it was unclear at the time of my review whether the Tailor Made Compounding fulfilling Henry Meds prescriptions was the same entity or a different operation using the same name.

The licensed prescribers through Colchis Medical Services PC appear clean and are clearly listed on the website.

US Address Perfect

Adonis Health, Inc. 1111B S Governors Ave, STE 25428 Dover, DE 19904. Verifiable and listed in the terms of service.

Patient Support & Comprehensive Care

How easy is it to get help from real people?

Henry Meds earns a perfect score here. Every channel I tested connected me to a real person who responded within business hours. Customer service was polite and direct. Clinical access includes monthly provider-reviewed refill questionnaires with the option for live visits when needed.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Phone support at (909) 787-2342 is available six days a week. Staff were polite and answered questions directly during my call.

I emailed a cancellation request during off-hours and received a confirmation first thing the next business day. No pushback, no retention attempts. Refreshingly easy.

The health coach booking system in the patient portal is straightforward. Select your format, set your goals, and book a time. Availability looked solid.

Support & Care Breakdown

Live Chat Human

Chat support is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PST. Based on my experience with customer service across all channels, responses came from real people who engaged directly with questions.

Phone Support Human

Available at (909) 787-2342, Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST and Saturday 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. PST. Staff were polite and helpful during my interactions.

Email Human

Email support at ask@henrymeds.com operates during the same hours as phone support. When I emailed a cancellation request during off-hours, it was processed first thing the next business morning without questions. Fast and hassle-free.

Clinical Access & Oversight Good

Monthly refill questionnaires are completed and reviewed asynchronously by a provider. My initial provider didn’t auto-approve my prescription, instead reaching out to discuss preferences for a personalized care plan. That level of engagement is uncommon in the telehealth GLP-1 space and suggests genuine clinical oversight, not a rubber stamp.

100

Medication Handling & Shipping Standards

How well shipped and packaged are the medications?

Henry Meds nails this category. Cold-chain shipping with two ice packs, thick insulated foam packaging, generous extra supplies, ondansetron for nausea included proactively, and a clever packaging detail I haven’t seen anywhere else. This is one of the best unboxing experiences I’ve had reviewing GLP-1 clinics.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Cold-chain packaging was handled properly with two ice packs wrapped in thick insulated foam, ensuring the medication arrived at the correct temperature.

The vial came inside a pill bottle with three cotton balls stuffed inside to hold it still. I haven’t seen this before, and it’s genuinely smart. No rattling, no movement, no risk of breakage.

More extra sharps and alcohol wipes than I usually see, plus ondansetron for nausea just in case. Most clinics make you get anti-nausea meds as a separate prescription at your local pharmacy.

Shipping Standards Breakdown

Cold-Chain Shipping Standards Perfect

Two ice packs wrapped in thick insulated foam packaging kept the medication at the proper temperature during transit. Everything arrived cold. No concerns.

Packaging Quality & Security Perfect

This is where Henry Meds really impressed me. The medication vial came inside a pill bottle with three cotton balls used to hold the vial completely still. I’ve reviewed a lot of clinics and seen vials rattling around in half-empty bottles. This simple touch made a real difference. The pill bottle was placed inside a large ziplock bag with all supplies and instructions, then wrapped inside the thick foam. Nothing was shifting during shipping.

Supplies & Instructions Perfect

More extra sharps and alcohol wipes than I typically see from any clinic. Clear instructions covered storage, temperature handling, how to inject, a syringe guide, and pharmacy information. But what stood out the most was the proactively included ondansetron, a medicine prescribed for nausea. Most clinics require you to pick this up as a separate subscription at your local pharmacy. Henry Meds just includes it in the box. That’s a genuine patient-first decision.

Tracking & Delivery Perfect

Tracking is available through both email and the patient portal. My medication shipped with two-day UPS delivery and arrived on time. Thanks to the glitchy patient portal, the tracking information froze and never updated past the initial shipping status, even after delivery. The UPS tracking worked fine, so this is a portal issue, not a shipping one.

73

Transparent Operations

How honest is Henry Meds in its policies and communications?

Henry Meds scores well in most transparency categories: easy cancellation, no aggressive marketing, authentic images, and no unverifiable claims. But two areas drag the score down significantly. The pricing experience is one of the most confusing I’ve encountered, and offering oral compounded GLP-1s without any scientific context is a notable gap.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Pricing appeared for semaglutide injections, then vanished when I navigated to other treatments. Refreshing the page changed the results. I’ve never experienced anything like this.

Depending on which page I used to access the intake, I got different quizzes. Some showed pricing, some required an appointment to continue. There’s no consistency.

On the bright side, cancellation was painless. I emailed during off-hours and they confirmed it first thing the next morning. No questions asked.

Operations Breakdown

Cancellation and Post-Cancellation Billing Perfect

You can submit a cancellation request under membership and subscriptions. Since support isn’t available 24/7, you can use chat or phone during business hours, submit a ticket, or send an email. I emailed during off-hours and they cancelled my subscription first thing the next morning without pushback. Clean and easy.

Clear Pricing and Policies Major issues

This is Henry Meds’ biggest transparency problem. Pricing appears to be partially hidden in FAQ sections at the bottom of some pages like “weight management” and “oral tirzepatide.” Even there, it shows only the lowest bundled monthly price for semaglutide injections, without clearly specifying which GLP-1 medication the price refers to. Individual medication pages show no clear pricing at all. When you click “get started,” you enter a generic intake quiz that may or may not show pricing depending on the page you came from. Refreshing the page can change the results. Some paths show bundle pricing with no medication details up front, while others require you to schedule an appointment before seeing any costs. The only medication that consistently displayed pricing was semaglutide injections. I genuinely could not figure out the system—and I review these clinics for a living.

Accuracy and Authenticity of Images Perfect

Photos on the Henry Meds website appear to be authentic. No AI-generated imagery concerns.

Advertised Pricing Accuracy Perfect

Henry Meds does not appear to actively advertise pricing, so there are no misleading price claims to call out. What you eventually find matches what you pay.

Media and Third-Party Validation Perfect

Henry Meds does not appear to make unsupported media, award, or partnership claims. Nothing to flag here.

Marketing Practices and Sales Pressure Perfect

No countdown timers, no urgency messaging, no forced prompts. You can review your options without pressure. Straightforward.

Clarity Around Medication Types and Limitations Major issues

Henry Meds offers oral compounded semaglutide tablets, oral compounded tirzepatide tablets, and microdose formats alongside traditional injections. But there is no explanation anywhere on the site about how oral compounded peptides compare to injectable forms. These formats work differently, have different absorption profiles, and the evidence base varies. Patients choosing between oral and injectable options deserve clear, honest information about what they’re selecting. Henry Meds provides none.

70

Patient Reviews & Real Experiences

What do recent customers think?

Henry Meds sits at 4.5 on Trustpilot, but the picture gets murkier from there. Reddit feedback is genuinely mixed, with praise for weight-loss results and customer service alongside complaints about delays, disorganization, and medication effectiveness. The BBB gives Henry Meds an F rating. Trustpilot has flagged the page with a notice that means they suspect false reviews, which adds another layer of uncertainty.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

A 4.5 on Trustpilot looks solid on the surface, but Trustpilot itself has placed an alert on the page warning about suspected false reviews. That’s worth noting.

An F rating from the BBB. This doesn’t always reflect service quality, but combined with mixed Trustpilot signals, it paints a complicated picture.

Reddit feedback is split. Some users report strong weight loss and helpful customer service. Others describe shipping delays, disorganization, and concerns about compounded medication effectiveness.

Who Should Use Henry Meds?

  • For those who want a clinic that genuinely cares about how your medication arrives, Henry Meds stands out. The packaging is some of the most thoughtful I’ve seen: cotton balls securing the vial, thick insulated foam, generous extra supplies, and ondansetron included proactively for nausea. These details show someone is thinking about the patient experience beyond just filling a prescription.
  • If you want a health coach included with your GLP-1 plan, Henry Meds delivers. A board-certified health coach is automatically assigned to your case as soon as you reach the patient portal. You can book one-on-one sessions, choose your preferred coaching format, and set personal goals. Most clinics either charge extra for this or don’t offer it at all.
  • If you’re looking for semaglutide injections at a competitive price, the $297 per month rate is fair. No membership fee, no hidden add-ons, and bundle discounts available for longer commitments. The pricing is straightforward once you actually find it.
  • If you value hassle-free cancellation, you’ll appreciate how Henry Meds handles it. I emailed during off-hours and received confirmation first thing the next morning. No retention attempts, no guilt trips, no runaround. This is how every clinic should handle cancellations.

Who is Henry Meds Not For?

  • If pharmacy transparency matters to you, Henry Meds may raise concerns. The company would not disclose its full list of pharmacy partners, and the only pharmacy name provided traces back to an entity that entered a federal plea agreement and whose Kentucky permit expired in 2021. The currently licensed pharmacy operates under a different entity, which adds to the confusion.
  • If you need up-front, clearly displayed pricing, Henry Meds will frustrate you. The pricing experience is one of the most confusing I’ve reviewed. Prices appear and disappear, intake paths vary by page, and most medications require an appointment before you can see what they cost. If transparent pricing is important to you, clinics like Mochi Health are more straightforward.
  • If you need tirzepatide injections or branded GLP-1s, look elsewhere. Henry Meds does not offer tirzepatide in injectable form, and no branded medications (Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, Zepbound) are available. If you want a broader selection, clinics like Mochi Health carry significantly more options.
  • If you need clear information about how oral and injectable GLP-1s compare, you won’t find it here. Henry Meds offers multiple oral compounded formats but provides zero educational content about the differences. You’re left to research a medical decision entirely on your own.
  • If you rely heavily on online reviews to guide healthcare decisions, the signals are mixed. A 4.5 on Trustpilot with a false-review warning, an F from the BBB, and genuinely split Reddit feedback don’t paint a clear picture. My own experience was positive, but the external feedback gives reason to proceed carefully.

Final Verdict

OVERALL SCORE

74

Henry Meds scores 74/100. The hands-on experience is genuinely impressive: perfect scores in both Patient Support (100/100) and Medication Handling (100/100), a thoughtful coaching program, fast prescribing, and one of the easiest cancellation processes I’ve encountered. The $297 per month for semaglutide injections is competitive, and the packaging quality sets a high bar.

But two issues hold it back from a better score. Henry Meds would not disclose its full list of pharmacy partners. The only pharmacy name shared with me was Tailor Made Compounding, which has a documented federal plea agreement and an expired Kentucky pharmacy permit under a prior entity. Without full pharmacy disclosure, patients can’t independently verify where their medication comes from. The second issue is pricing. Pricing appears inconsistently in FAQ sections and often only shows the lowest bundled price for semaglutide injections without clearly stating which medication it refers to. A Transparent Operations score of 79/100 reflects these transparency issues.

If you’re comfortable with semaglutide injections and can look past the pricing confusion, the underlying service is solid. But pharmacy partners should be disclosed upfront—just like pricing—so consumers can make clear, informed choices.
