BEFORE WE DIG IN

Before reviewing, I signed up with Polly, recorded the process, and gathered the key info you need to see if it’s a good fit. This review follows NNC’s Price & Trust Transparency Score methodology, which evaluates providers across true cost analysis and safety & legitimacy.

Disclosure: I’m a paid contributor to NutritionNC.com and was not compensated by Polly for this review.

Step 1: Sign up and complete your intake.

Head to Polly’s site and work through the intake questionnaire. It’s a long one. You’ll upload full-body photos and a photo ID, then check off a stack of terms-of-service agreements before you can reach checkout. The portal itself is organized and easy to move through.

Step 2: Pay for your plan.

Pricing only appears after you finish the intake. You then choose your medication and plan length, either a monthly plan or a discounted three- or six-month bundle billed up front.

Step 3: Provider reviews your file asynchronously.

Within 48 hours I received an asynchronous consultation and approval. There was no video call. Polly approved my order the day after I completed intake.

Step 4: Prescription ships overnight.

Once approved, my prescription went to the pharmacy and shipped with overnight delivery. Tracking showed up in both my email and the patient portal.

Step 5: Continue with ongoing support.

Support reaches out for renewals and handles non-medical questions like billing or shipping. Your provider reviews your progress at follow-ups and decides whether your treatment plan needs adjusting.

1 The safety and efficacy of compounded and microdosed medications, including treatments that have not been inspected and approved by the FDA, cannot be guaranteed. GLP-1 medications may not be appropriate for everyone. Patients should disclose a history of pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, severe gastrointestinal disease, kidney disease or other dehydration risks, use of diabetes medications such as insulin or sulfonylureas, pregnancy or plans for pregnancy, any personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2, and a history of diabetic retinopathy. Patients should seek urgent medical help for severe or persistent vomiting, signs of dehydration, severe abdominal pain, especially radiating to the back, right upper quadrant pain, or jaundice, symptoms of severe hypoglycemia, allergic reaction, or possible overdose. Patients scheduled for procedures requiring sedation or anesthesia should inform their provider of GLP-1 use because these medications may slow gastric emptying and increase the risk of aspiration during peri-procedural periods.

For my review, I tested and scored Polly across six key areas that matter most: true cost, legitimacy, patient support, shipping standards, transparency, and real customer feedback.

Here’s everything I found:

True Cost Analysis

How clear and fair is Polly’s pricing?

Polly’s compounded semaglutide runs $179 a month, which sits at the affordable end of the market. The catch is that you can’t see a single price until you finish a long intake, and its Meta ads lean on the deepest bundle discount rather than the real monthly cost.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Polly keeps all pricing behind the intake quiz, so you have to hand over full-body photos and a photo ID before you learn what anything costs.

At checkout, the monthly plan is $179 for compounded semaglutide, with cheaper per-month rates only if you commit to a bundle billed up front.

Polly’s Meta ads advertise “$135, same price any dose” for compounded semaglutide. That’s actually the 6-month bundle rate, which bills $810 up front, not a true monthly price.

Pricing Breakdown

Not included

Polly does not include lab work, and it isn’t required to start. If your provider ever wants labs, you would need to arrange and pay for those on your own.

None

There is no separate membership or platform fee. What you pay is the medication price, either monthly or as an up-front bundle.

Compounded semaglutide (injection)

$159–$249 by dose
3-month bundle: $166/mo, billed at $499 up front
6-month bundle: $135/mo, billed at $810 up front

Compounded tirzepatide (injection)

$239–$439 by dose
3-month bundle: $216/mo, billed at $648 up front
6-month bundle: $199/mo, billed at $1,194 up front

  • Coaching and lifestyle support Polly does not include coaching, behavior change, or lifestyle-support programs with any plan.
  • Nutritional support Polly does not provide nutrition coaching, meal plans, or dietary guidance.

Safety & Legitimacy

Is this provider trustworthy and properly licensed?

Polly is LegitScript certified, HIPAA compliant, and operates from a verifiable US address. It even names both of its pharmacies in the FAQ, which most clinics won’t do.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Polly holds active LegitScript certification, the industry gold standard that confirms basic compliance and safety standards for online clinics.

Polly lists Hallandale Pharmacy and VialsRx in its FAQ. Both are licensed, and neither has an unresolved disciplinary issue on record.

Polly operates as Piper Wellness LLC at 252 NW 29th St #9, Miami, FL 33127. The address is verifiable and clearly listed.

Credentials Breakdown

LegitScript Certification Verified

LegitScript certification is the industry gold standard for online healthcare providers, and Polly’s certification shows it meets rigorous standards for safety, compliance, and trustworthy online practices.

HIPAA Compliant Perfect

Polly’s HIPAA notice is linked in the site footer and easy to find, with an effective and last-updated date of April 29, 2026. No concerns here.

Clean Provider Records Minor issues

Polly names both pharmacies it works with, which is refreshing. Hallandale Pharmacy, run by Pharmcore Inc., had a 2020 FDA warning letter that was closed out in May 2022, and a later inspection report from June 2025 that the FDA closed without enforcement in November 2025. VialsRx holds an active Texas license with no disciplinary actions on record. Polly does not publish its prescriber network, though it names its clinical partner, WasefHealth, when you ask.

US Address Perfect

Piper Wellness LLC, 252 NW 29th St #9, Miami, FL 33127. Verifiable and clearly listed.

Patient Support & Comprehensive Care

How easy is it to get help from real people?

Getting help from Polly depends entirely on whether you’re already a patient. Once you’re in, the in-portal chat reaches a human quickly, even on weekends, and clinical oversight is genuinely strong. Before that, your only option is email, because Polly has no phone line at all.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

The portal chat opens with AI but connects you to a real person fairly quickly, even on the weekend. It’s the fastest way to get help once you’re a patient.

Polly has no phone number. Its Help Center states plainly that it doesn’t offer inbound phone support.

Email at care@joinpolly.com is the only channel open to non-patients. Responses typically arrive within one business day.

Support & Care Breakdown

Live Chat Human/AI

Chat in the patient portal starts with AI but hands you off to a human fairly quickly, even on weekends. The catch is that it’s open to current patients only, so it does nothing for people still deciding whether to sign up.

Phone Support None

Polly offers no phone support of any kind. Its help center states directly that there is no inbound phone line, so you can’t call a person no matter the issue.

Email Human

Email at care@joinpolly.com is available around the clock for account holders and seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m EST, for everyone else. Non-patients usually hear back within one business day. This is the only door open to you before you become a patient.

Clinical Access & Oversight Good

Regular clinician access is available. Support reaches out for renewals, and your provider reviews your progress at follow-ups to decide whether your treatment plan needs adjusting. Polly spells this out clearly during the consultation.

100

Medication Handling & Shipping Standards

How well shipped and packaged are the medications?

Polly earned a perfect score here, and it deserved it. Cold-chain shipping was handled properly, every supply I needed was in the box with extras, and my medication arrived overnight with full tracking.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Two gel ice packs sat inside a thick insulated foam package, keeping the medication cold in transit.

The medication was in its own small box inside a ziplock, with extra sharps, plenty of alcohol wipes, and an instruction and drug-information sheet included.

Tracking was available in both email and the patient portal, and shipping was overnight.

Shipping Standards Breakdown

Cold-Chain Shipping Standards Perfect

Two gel ice packs inside a thick insulated foam package kept the medication at the right temperature the whole way. No complaints about temperature control.

Packaging Quality & Security Perfect

The medication sat in its own small box tucked inside a ziplock bag, so nothing shifted or rattled in transit. Everything arrived intact and well protected.

Supplies & Instructions Perfect

Every injection supply I needed was included, plus extra sharps and plenty of alcohol wipes. An instruction sheet and drug-information sheet were in the medicine box. The medication came as a vial, so you draw and inject yourself, and the instructions cover storage, temperature, and how to inject.

Tracking & Delivery Perfect

Tracking showed up in both my email and the patient portal. After I finished the intake, approval came the next day, and the medication shipped overnight, so it was in hand about two days after I ordered.

86

Transparent Operations

How honest is Polly in its policies and communications?

Polly gets transparency mostly right. Cancellation is effortless, images are authentic, there are no pressure tactics, and it makes no unverifiable media claims. The two soft spots are pricing that hides behind the intake and a Meta ad that leads with the deepest bundle discount.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Cancellation lives right in the portal. Go to “treatments,” “manage,” then “cancel subscription.” It takes effect immediately.

Polly displays no media logos or third-party award claims that would need verifying.

I saw no countdown timers, forced urgency, or pushy prompts anywhere in the flow.

Operations Breakdown

Cancellation and Post-Cancellation Billing Perfect

Canceling is genuinely easy. You go to the patient portal, open treatments, tap manage, then cancel subscription. It takes effect immediately, and no charges occur after you cancel.

Clear Pricing and Policies Minor issues

Polly hides all pricing behind the intake quiz, so you have to complete a long questionnaire and upload photos before you see a single number. Full details do appear before you pay, but making people work that hard just to learn the cost is a real drawback.

Accuracy and Authenticity of Images Perfect

The patient and outcome images on Polly’s site appear authentic, with no signs of AI-generated or stock photos passed off as real results.

Advertised Pricing Accuracy Minor issues

Polly’s Meta ads advertise “$135, same price any dose” for compounded semaglutide. That figure is really the six-month bundle rate, which bills $810 up front. The true monthly semaglutide price is $179, so the ad leads with a number most patients won’t actually pay month to month.

Media and Third-Party Validation Perfect

Polly makes no media, award, or partnership claims, so there’s nothing here that needs verifying against a primary source.

Marketing Practices and Sales Pressure Perfect

I saw no aggressive sales tactics, no countdown timers, and no urgency messaging. You can review your options without feeling pushed.

Clarity Around Medication Types and Limitations Minor issues

Polly offers compounded medications that lack the clinical evidence backing FDA-approved drugs, but it posts clear disclaimers throughout the site explaining that difference. The disclosure is handled well, and the only reason this isn’t perfect is that these options carry less established safety and efficacy data to begin with.

25

Patient Reviews & Real Experiences

What do recent customers think?

Polly’s public reputation is its weakest area by far. Trustpilot sits at 2.9 stars with mostly one-star reviews, the BBB gives its parent company a D+, and Reddit threads run negative, with repeated complaints about poor customer service. Worse, Polly’s replies to unhappy customers read as passive-aggressive rather than helpful.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Trustpilot shows a 2.9 rating with mostly one-star reviews. The content skews negative, not just the star count.

The BBB lists the parent company, Piper Wellness LLC, at a D+ rating. It isn’t accredited, and the file cites a failure to respond to a complaint and a short operating history.

A Reddit thread on the clinic runs mostly negative, with complaints about poor customer service and unprofessionalism.

Who Should Use Polly?

  • Those who prioritize overnight cold-chain shipping will like Polly. Two gel ice packs, insulated foam, and full tracking got my medication to me intact in roughly two days.
  • If you want your pharmacy named up front, you’ll appreciate that Polly is one of the few clinics to tell you. It lists both Hallandale Pharmacy and VialsRx in its FAQ, and both hold active licenses.
  • For those who value effortless cancellation, Polly makes it painless. You cancel in the portal in a few taps, and no charges follow.
  • If LegitScript certification and HIPAA compliance are your baseline, then Polly clears both. It holds active LegitScript certification and posts a clearly dated HIPAA notice in its footer.

Who is Polly Not For?

  • If you want to see pricing before committing your time, then Polly will frustrate you. Every price stays locked behind a long intake that requires full-body photos and a photo ID before any cost appears.
  • Those who rely on phone support will be disappointed. It has no phone line at all, and non-patients can only reach it by email.
  • If customer reviews weigh heavily in your decision, then Polly’s track record is hard to ignore. Trustpilot sits at 2.9 stars, the BBB rates its parent company a D+, and the clinic’s replies to unhappy customers come across as dismissive.
  • If you want branded GLP-1s like Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, or Zepbound, keep looking. Mochi Health offers a much wider selection of both branded and compounded options.
  • If you want coaching, nutrition guidance, or lifestyle support alongside your medication, Polly won’t fit. MEDVi includes comprehensive lifestyle coaching at no extra cost.

Final Verdict

OVERALL SCORE

78

Polly scores 78/100, carried by a perfect 100/100 in medication handling.

The strengths are real. For example, shipping and packaging were flawless, and its legitimacy is solid, with LegitScript certification, HIPAA compliance, and two publicly named pharmacies. I couldn’t ignore a poor public reputation, a 2.9 Trustpilot rating and dismissive replies to customers, or purposely cryptic pricing.

If fast, well-handled shipping and named pharmacies matter most to you, Polly delivers. But if you weigh customer sentiment and up-front pricing heavily, look closely before you commit.

Take the first step toward better health. Get evaluated now.
