BEFORE WE DIG IN

Before reviewing, I signed up with Amble, recorded the process, and gathered the key info you need to see if it’s a good fit. This review follows NNC’s Price & Trust Transparency Score methodology, which evaluates providers across true cost analysis and safety & legitimacy.

Disclosure: I’m a paid contributor to NutritionNC.com and was not compensated by Amble for this review.

Step 1: Sign up and complete your intake.

Head to Amble’s site and start the intake questionnaire. Unlike most clinics, which force you through questions one at a time—with ads in between,—Amble’s intake is one easily scrollable page.

Step 2: Pay for your plan.

After completing the intake, select your medication and plan length. Amble offers monthly plans as well as 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month bundles with increasing discounts. Pricing is accurately displayed before you commit.

Step 3: Provider reviews your file asynchronously.

In most states, treatment begins after an asynchronous online health review. No video call needed. In New Mexico, Kansas, West Virginia, Louisiana, and Mississippi, a short video or audio visit is required.

Step 4: Prescription is approved and shipped.

Approval came the next day for me. The prescription was sent to the pharmacy on the same day, and my medication shipped with two-day delivery and tracking.

Step 5: Receive your medication and start treatment.

My package arrived with insulated cold-chain packaging, a gel ice pack, and all injection supplies included. A semaglutide information sheet and an injecting explainer card were inside (though both were wrinkled).

Step 6: Complete ongoing follow-ups.

There is no set follow-up schedule; care is patient-initiated through the portal, where you can message your provider, request dose adjustments, and continue treatment as needed. Amble may ask for full-body selfie images to verify that your reported weight is consistent. All prescriptions expire, so you’ll need to check in with your provider to continue treatment.

  • Tirzepatide oral tablets, drops, microdose
  • Semaglutide oral tablets, drops, microdose
  • Ozempic®
  • Mounjaro®
  • Wegovy®
  • Zepbound®

While Amble does not offer branded GLP-1 medications, oral formats, or microdose options, it does offer non-GLP-1 products such as NAD+, sermorelin, and ivermectin.

Insurance Eligibility

Not accepted

Amble does not accept insurance for any treatments.

HSA/FSA Eligibility

Accepted

HSA and FSA cards are accepted for plans three months long or longer. Amble also provides itemized receipts for self-submission to your benefits provider.

Available States

All 50 states

Amble says it serves all 50 states, but this is not listed in its terms of service and likely depends on pharmacy and provider partner availability.

Customer Support

24/7

Reach by phone at (833) 482-6464, in-portal chat (AI first, human available on request), and email at hello@joinamble.com. Chat is your best bet. The phone barely rings before going to a generic voicemail, and I never received a call back.

Coaching & Lifestyle

Not offered

Amble does not offer behavior coaching, nutrition support, or fitness guidance. There is a Reddit community, but no structured lifestyle programming.

For my review, I tested and scored Amble across six key areas that matter most: true cost, legitimacy, patient support, shipping standards, transparency, and real customer feedback.

Here’s everything I found:

84

True Cost Analysis

How clear and fair is Amble’s pricing?

Amble’s pricing is more transparent than most clinics I’ve reviewed. You see a full breakdown of each bundle before going through intake, with no hidden fees, no membership charges, and no bait-and-switch between advertised and actual pricing.

At $179/month for compounded semaglutide injections, Amble sits at the lower end of the market. The bundle discounts bring the per-month cost down further if you commit to a longer plan.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Amble shows a full pricing breakdown for every bundle before you even start the intake process. Such candid disclosure is rare.

What you see is what you pay. No hidden fees, no surprise charges at checkout. The advertised price I was given matched exactly what I was charged.

Amble doesn’t appear to advertise pricing in Meta ads, which means there’s no misleading first-month promo to confuse you. Refreshing.

Pricing Breakdown

Not included

Lab work is not included and not required. Amble does not partner with a lab service, so if your provider wants labs, you’ll need to arrange those on your own.

None

There is no separate membership or platform fee. Your monthly cost is the medication price only.

  • Coaching and lifestyle support Amble does not include any coaching, behavior change, or lifestyle-support programs. If structured guidance matters to you, you’ll need to find it elsewhere.
  • Nutritional support No nutrition coaching, meal plans, or dietary guidance are included with any Amble plan.
  • Doctor consultations Asynchronous provider consultations are included. In most states, no video visit is needed. In five states (New Mexico, Kansas, West Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi), a short video or audio visit is required.
  • Shipping Two-day shipping is included at no additional cost, and tracking is available via email and the patient portal.

  • 3-month plan: $160
  • 6-month plan: $145
  • 12-month plan: $135

  • 12-month plan: $235

Safety & Legitimacy

Is this provider trustworthy and properly licensed?

Amble is LegitScript certified, HIPAA compliant, and has a verifiable US address. Those are the positives. Transparency is the main concern. The only pharmacy Amble disclosed to me was the one that shipped my medication, and while it has no disciplinary history, they refused to share any information about the licensed medical providers who prescribe the medication or any other pharmacy partners.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Amble holds active LegitScript certification. This is the industry gold standard and confirms basic compliance and safety standards.

Align Pharmacy, the only pharmacy disclosed to me, holds an active community pharmacy license with no disciplinary history on record.

Amble operates through Bask Health, a software platform that explicitly states it is “not a pharmacy or healthcare provider” and doesn’t verify credentials. This raises questions about oversight.

Credentials Breakdown

LegitScript Certification Verified

LegitScript certification is the industry gold standard for online healthcare providers, and Amble’s certification shows it meets rigorous standards for safety, compliance, and trustworthy online practices.

HIPAA Compliant Perfect

Amble’s HIPAA privacy notice is clearly posted and easy to find. No concerns here.

Clean Provider Records Major issues

Amble only disclosed Align Pharmacy, the partner that shipped my medication. State board records show it holds an active license with no disciplinary history. When asked about other pharmacy partners, they stated they work with 503(a) compounding pharmacies but did not provide any additional details. They also do not disclose the licensed medical providers who prescribe the medication. Amble operates through Bask Health, which states it is “not a pharmacy or healthcare provider.” Greater transparency here would go a long way.

US Address Perfect

5310 Warren Rd, Cortland, OH 44410. Verifiable and clearly listed.

75

Patient Support & Comprehensive Care

How easy is it to get help from real people?

Getting help from Amble is a mixed bag. The patient portal chat connects you to a human eventually, but phone support is essentially nonfunctional. I called twice and the phone barely rang before going to a generic voicemail—and I never received a callback. Clinical oversight is solid once you’re in the system.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Email responses came within 24 hours. Direct, helpful, and clearly from a real person. Email is the most reliable channel.

Phone support connected me to real people, but the line quality was poor and hold times were long. I was transferred multiple times during one call.

The 90-day check-in questionnaire is free. If your provider thinks you need a video visit, it’s $25. You can also request one anytime. This is a fair clinical oversight structure.

Support & Care Breakdown

Live Chat Human

Chat in the patient portal starts with AI, but a human can be reached on request. During daytime hours, reaching a real person didn’t take too long. I’d be curious whether off-hours response times are as quick. For most questions, this is the channel to use.

Phone Support Automated

Phone support at (833) 482-6464 is functionally useless. The phone barely rings before going to a generic voicemail that gives no indication you’re calling a medical clinic. The footer link on the website isn’t clickable either. I called twice over several weeks and never received a call back.

Email Human

Email support at hello@joinamble.com. Amble advertises 24/7 support and asynchronous chat with providers. I was able to get pharmacy information via the support channels, though it took effort.

Clinical Access & Oversight Good

Regular clinician access is available. Follow-up visits are required to monitor your response to the medication and check for side effects. Amble may ask for full-body selfie images to verify reported weight, which is unusual but shows they’re paying attention. All prescriptions expire, and you must check in with your provider to continue treatment.

94

Medication Handling & Shipping Standards

How well shipped and packaged are the medications?

Amble scored near-perfect here. Cold-chain shipping was handled properly, all supplies were included with extras, and my medication arrived in two days with full tracking. The only issue was packaging organization: The information sheet was wrinkled and stuck to the package, and supplies fell out of the FedEx bag.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

One gel ice pack wrapped in thick insulated foam packaging with a small box inside held the medication securely. Temperature control was done right.

Supplies were in a separate ziplock bag. The semaglutide info sheet was wrinkled and stuck to the package, ripping when I pulled it off. The injection explainer card fell out of it, also wrinkled.

Tracking was available in both email and the patient portal. Two-day shipping arrived on time.

Shipping Standards Breakdown

Cold-Chain Shipping Standards Perfect

One gel ice pack wrapped in thick insulated foam packaging kept the medication at the right temperature. A small inner box held the vial securely inside the foam. No complaints about temperature control.

Packaging Quality & Security Minor issues

The medication itself was secure inside the foam package, which is the most important thing. But everything else was messy. The semaglutide info sheet was wrinkled and stuck to the package in a way that ripped the words off when I pulled it apart. It didn’t appear intentional: no tape, no glue, just sticky somehow. The injection explainer card fell out of the wrinkled sheet, also crumpled. The supplies were in a separate ziplock bag that fell out of the FedEx bag when I pulled the package out. None of this compromised the medication, but for an injectable prescription, presentation matters.

Supplies & Instructions Perfect

All required injection supplies were included, plus extra sharps and alcohol wipes. A semaglutide information sheet and an injection explainer card were in the package. No prefilled syringes, so you draw and inject yourself, but the instructions cover everything you need.

Tracking & Delivery Perfect

Two-day shipping with tracking in both email and the patient portal. My medication arrived on time with no issues.

100

Transparent Operations

How honest is Amble in its policies and communications?

Amble earned a perfect score here, and it deserves every point. Cancellation is easy and immediate, pricing is fully transparent before intake, images are authentic, advertised prices match checkout, no pressure tactics are deployed, and it’s one of the first clinics I’ve seen to proactively disclose that product images don’t reflect the actual medication. This is what transparency looks like.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Cancellation is straightforward. Go to “treatments” in the portal, click your medication, click “plan,” then “cancel membership.” Takes effect immediately with no charges after.

Pricing is shown as a full breakdown for each bundle before you go through intake. No hidden fees, no fine print, no FAQ scavenger hunts.

Amble proactively states that product images are “for marketing purposes only” and that “compounded products are not approved nor evaluated for safety, efficacy, or quality by the FDA.” I’ve never seen another clinic do this.

Operations Breakdown

Cancellation and Post-Cancellation Billing Perfect

Cancel anytime through the patient portal. Go to “treatments,” click on the medication you want to cancel, click “plan,” then “cancel membership.” It takes effect immediately, and no charges occur after cancellation. No email runarounds, no retention attempts.

Clear Pricing and Policies Perfect

Pricing is more transparent than most clinics I’ve reviewed. Amble shows a full breakdown of each bundle before you go through the intake process. You know exactly what you’re paying before you commit.

Accuracy and Authenticity of Images Perfect

All patient and outcome images on Amble’s website are authentic. No AI-generated photos, no stock imagery passed off as real results.

Advertised Pricing Accuracy Perfect

Amble doesn’t appear to advertise pricing in Meta ads, and the pricing on its website matches exactly what you pay at checkout. No hidden fees, no first-month bait-and-switch.

Media and Third-Party Validation Perfect

Amble doesn’t make unverifiable media or partnership claims. No logos from publications plastered across the site without proof. No “as seen on” claims that can’t be traced to actual coverage.

Marketing Practices and Sales Pressure Perfect

No countdown timers, no urgency messaging, no forced prompts. You can review your options without feeling pushed toward a decision.

Clarity Around Medication Types and Limitations Perfect

Amble includes a standout disclaimer: “Stylized vial for marketing purposes only; image does not reflect the actual label or size of prescription vial. Compounded products are not approved nor evaluated for safety, efficacy, or quality by the FDA.” This is the kind of honesty I wish every clinic practiced. Most compounded medications arrive without branding, which confuses patients when the advertised images show branded-looking vials. Amble addresses this head-on.

70

Patient Reviews & Real Experiences

What do recent customers think?

Amble has a 4.4 on Trustpilot and a presence on Reddit, but the BBB tells a different story: an F rating with an alert for “pattern of complaints.” That’s a significant red flag. Amble’s responses to reviews appear mostly generic and copy-paste, and it has failed to respond to 126 complaints on the BBB.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

A 4.4 on Trustpilot is decent, but not exceptional. It’s worth checking the actual review content rather than just the star rating.

The BBB gives Amble an F rating with an alert for “pattern of complaints.” That’s a term the BBB uses for systemic, unresolved customer issues.

Amble’s responses to Trustpilot reviews appear generic and copy-paste. No personalization, no engagement with specific concerns. A total of 126 BBB complaints have gone unanswered entirely.

Who Should Use Amble?

  • If transparent, straightforward pricing is your top priority, you’ll find Amble is one of the best options around. Full bundle breakdowns shown before intake, no hidden fees, no misleading first-month promos, and no membership charges. At $179/month for compounded semaglutide injections, it’s competitively priced too.
  • If you want to get started quickly without jumping through hoops, Amble makes it easy. No lab work required, asynchronous provider review in most states, next-day approval, and two-day shipping. From sign-up to medication in hand, you’re looking at a few days, not weeks.
  • If you prefer a no-frills, medication-focused program, you’ll love that Amble delivers exactly that. No upsells, no coaching add-ons, no lifestyle programs. You get your medication, your provider follow-ups, and that’s it. Some people want a comprehensive wellness experience. Others just want the prescription. Amble is built for the second group.
  • If honest marketing matters to you, Amble stands out. Perfect scores across all seven transparency categories: authentic images, accurate advertising, proactive disclaimers about compounded medications, and easy cancellation. In a space full of countdown timers and buried pricing, this is genuinely refreshing.

Who is Amble Not For?

  • If pharmacy and provider transparency are important to you, Amble’s gaps are hard to ignore. Align Pharmacy LLC, the only pharmacy disclosed to me, appears to be permanently closed and its licenses expired. No prescriber information was shared on request. Not knowing who is writing or filling your medical prescriptions is a dealbreaker for many people.
  • If you need reliable phone support, look elsewhere. The phone goes to a generic voicemail almost immediately, with no indication you’re calling a medical clinic. I called twice and never received a response. Chat and email work, but if phone access matters to you, this isn’t it.
  • If you want coaching, nutrition guidance, or lifestyle support alongside your medication, Amble doesn’t offer any of that. No behavior coaching, no meal plans, no fitness programming. Clinics like MEDVi include comprehensive lifestyle coaching at no extra cost if that’s what you’re looking for.
  • If you want branded GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, or Zepbound, Amble doesn’t carry them. It offers only compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide injections. Clinics like Mochi Health offer a much wider selection of both branded and compounded options.
  • If a clinic’s BBB reputation matters to you, be aware that Amble has an F rating with a “pattern of complaints” alert. That’s a significant warning from the BBB, and 126 complaints have gone entirely unanswered. The Trustpilot score is decent at 4.4, but the BBB picture is concerning.

Final Verdict

OVERALL SCORE

83

Amble scores 83/100. Its standout strength is a perfect 100/100 in Transparent Operations. Pricing is honest and up-front, cancellation is effortless, and marketing is pressure-free. Medication handling is also strong at 94/100, and at $179/month for compounded semaglutide, the pricing is competitive.

The concerns center on transparency and accountability. The only pharmacy Amble disclosed to me was the one that filled my own order, and no information about prescribing providers was shared when requested. Phone support is essentially nonfunctional, and the BBB’s F rating with a “pattern of complaints” alert raises additional concerns. These are not minor gaps.

If you value transparent pricing and a fast, simple process, Amble delivers. But if knowing exactly who is prescribing and filling your medication matters to you (and it should), press for answers before committing.
