BEFORE WE DIG IN

Before reviewing, I signed up with Remedy Meds, recorded the process, and gathered the key info you need to see if it’s a good fit. This review follows NNC’s Price & Trust Transparency Score methodology, which evaluates providers across true cost analysis and safety & legitimacy.

Disclosure: I’m a paid contributor to NutritionNC.com and was not compensated by Remedy Meds for this review.

Step 1: Sign up and complete your intake.

Intake involves filling out a typical medical form that collects your personal and health history. You then select whether you prefer injectable semaglutide or tirzepatide and complete your purchase right there. Easy process with clear pricing at checkout.

Step 2: Complete a second medical questionnaire.

Oddly, after payment, Remedy Meds asks you to complete another short medical history questionnaire. I’m not sure why this wasn’t part of the first intake, but it’s quick.

Step 3: Schedule your video consultation.

A virtual visit is required before prescribing. I was able to book for that same day—as soon as 30 minutes after completing the intake and checkout.

Step 4: Complete the video visit.

My consultation took about five minutes. The doctor was on time, polite, and genuinely likable. She didn’t repeat all the questions from the intake like the providers at most clinics do, which was refreshing. The window is short by design; she let me know she’d follow up with detailed info, videos, and dosing instructions in the patient portal.

Step 5: Receive your prescription approval.

Approval came the same day as my consultation. No waiting around.

Step 6: Receive your medication.

The website says 48-hour delivery, and I got an email saying my medication would arrive on 2/11 after approval on ⅔, but it actually shipped overnight. One-day shipping, very impressive. Tracking was available via email and the patient portal.

Step 7: Complete refill quizzes for ongoing care.

After your third injection, you’ll get a “refill quiz” in the portal. You’re required to fill it out to continue receiving medication on time. The US-based care team is available seven days a week for questions, side effect guidance, or dosage adjustments.

Coaching & Lifestyle

Included (self-guided)

Remedy Meds includes free courses on building sustainable routines, long-term lifestyle motivation, and maintenance. This isn’t one-on-one behavior coaching; it’s more like taking classes to learn how to be your own coach. There’s also a Remedy Member Facebook Community. Worth mentioning, but not the same as having a personal coach.

For my review, I tested and scored Remedy Meds across six key areas that matter most: true cost, legitimacy, patient support, shipping standards, transparency, and real customer feedback.

Here’s everything I found:

60

True Cost Analysis

How clear and fair is Remedy Meds’ pricing?

Remedy Meds charges a flat $299/month for compounded semaglutide injections and $399/month for tirzepatide, with no price increases as your dose goes up and no membership fee. The pricing model is straightforward, but it loses points on value relative to the broader market rather than on hidden fees.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Pricing is clearly shown at checkout. No hidden fees, no surprises. What you see is what you pay, and your price stays the same, no matter the dose.

Remedy Meds doesn’t appear to advertise pricing directly but does run occasional discount ads. Since the regular price matches the actual checkout price, this isn’t misleading.

The flat-rate model is one of the cleaner pricing structures I’ve seen. A static $299 for semaglutide and $399 for tirzepatide, regardless of dose. Simple.

Pricing Breakdown

Not included

Lab work is not required to start treatment, but Remedy Meds sends a lab request as a recommendation regardless. You’ll need to arrange and pay for labs on your own if you decide to follow through.

  • Coaching and lifestyle support Remedy Meds offers free self-guided courses on building sustainable routines and long-term lifestyle motivation. This is more “learn to coach yourself” than actual one-on-one coaching, but the content is unique and well-done.
  • Nutritional support The patient portal has cooking videos for high-protein meals. It’s a cute and unique touch that I haven’t seen at other clinics. Not traditional nutrition counseling, but genuinely helpful content.
  • Doctor consultations Virtual video visits are required and included. Same-day availability is standard, with consultations as soon as 30 minutes after completing intake. Follow-up care happens through the portal via refill quizzes and ongoing access to the care team.
  • Shipping Shipping is included at no additional cost. Despite the website saying 48-hour delivery, my medication arrived overnight with one-day shipping. Tracking is available via email and the patient portal.

Safety & Legitimacy

Is this provider trustworthy and properly licensed?

Remedy Meds is LegitScript certified, has a verifiable US address, and uses licensed prescribers through OpenLoop. I could only verify the one pharmacy partner that filled my order, and its record checked out. But Remedy Meds wouldn’t disclose any others they work with. When I called to ask, the phone agent told me compounded medications come from “your local pharmacy.”

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Remedy Meds holds active LegitScript certification, the industry gold standard for online healthcare providers. This is a strong trust signal.

When I called, the agent told me the pharmacy is “basically your local pharmacy” for compounded semaglutide, which doesn’t make sense. She didn’t sound sure of her answer.

Verifiable US address, though not clearly listed on the website: 480 Morris Ave, Summit, NJ 07901.

Credentials Breakdown

LegitScript Certification Verified

LegitScript certification is the industry gold standard for online healthcare providers, and Remedy Meds’ certification shows it meets rigorous standards for safety, compliance, and trustworthy online practices.

HIPAA Compliant Perfect

Remedy Meds has a HIPAA-related notice posted on the site, though it specifically states that “HIPAA Does Not Apply” because the company does not prescribe or handle PHI directly. Medical services are handled through Remedy’s clinical partners. The notice is there, but the framing is unusual.

Clean Provider Records Minor issues

I could only verify the disciplinary history of the one pharmacy that filled my specific order, and it checked out. But Remedy Meds wouldn’t disclose any other compounding pharmacies they work with though they likely use more. Without knowing pharmacy partners, there’s no way to check disciplinary records. Medical prescribers are clearly listed through OpenLoop and affiliated clinical entities, so no concerns on the provider side.

US Address Perfect

480 Morris Ave, Summit, NJ 07901. The address can be found, but it is not prominently listed on the website.

100

Patient Support & Comprehensive Care

How easy is it to get help from real people?

Remedy Meds earns a perfect score here. A real human answered the phone quickly when I called, and clinical access includes unlimited video calls with clinicians. The only downside is that the phone agent couldn’t accurately answer my question about pharmacy partners.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Reliable and responsive live chat is available 24/7. This is your best bet for quick answers at any hour, but it is only accessible to active patients.

A human answered the phone quickly. She was friendly, though she struggled with detailed questions about pharmacy partners. For general questions, the phone works well.

Unlimited video calls with providers are included. This is a genuinely strong feature that most clinics don’t offer.

Support & Care Breakdown

Live Chat Human

The 24/7 live chat is available around the clock and appears to be staffed by real people. For quick questions or account help, this is the channel to use.

Phone Support Human

Phone support is available at (551) 239-9025, Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST. A real person answered quickly when I called. She was friendly but wasn’t able to accurately answer my questions about the pharmacy partner. For general support questions, the phone works fine.

Email Human

Email support at support@remedymeds.com, Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST. It functions as a standard support channel for questions that aren’t urgent.

Clinical Access & Oversight Good

Remedy Meds offers unlimited video calls with providers, which is a rare feature. Most clinics offer one consultation and then switch to asynchronous check-ins—or worse, require consults and charge for each one. Here, you can book a video visit whenever you need one. The refill quiz that follows your third injection also keeps the care team informed about how treatment is going.

Medication Handling & Shipping Standards

How well shipped and packaged are the medications?

Perfect marks across the board. My medication arrived in an insulated foam box with an ice pack, all injection supplies were included with extras, and tracking was available through email and the patient portal. One-day shipping sealed the deal.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

My medication arrived in an insulated foam box with an ice pack. Cold-chain shipping was handled properly. Everything arrived cold.

Extra sharps and alcohol wipes were included, along with detailed instructions, drug information, and a visual guide showing how to draw up and inject. Thoughtful and thorough.

Tracking was available in both email and the patient portal. Despite the website advertising 48-hour delivery, mine arrived overnight. Impressive.

Shipping Standards Breakdown

Cold-Chain Shipping Standards Perfect

Ice pack inside an insulated foam box kept everything at the right temperature during transit. The medication arrived cold, which is what matters most for injectable GLP-1s.

Packaging Quality & Security Perfect

The medication was in a small ziplock bag inside a larger ziplock holding the other supplies. The ziplock bags were secured between the ice pack and foam box, so nothing was shifting in transit. Everything was intact and properly cushioned.

Supplies & Instructions Perfect

All required injection supplies were included, plus extra sharps and alcohol wipes. Detailed written instructions and drug information were in the box, along with a helpful visual showing patients how to draw up the syringe and inject. The instructions are clear enough for a first timer.

Tracking & Delivery Perfect

Tracking was available via email and the patient portal. Despite the website’s 48-hour delivery claim, my medication arrived with one-day shipping. Very impressive turnaround.

90

Transparent Operations

How honest is Remedy Meds in its policies and communications?

Remedy Meds runs a clean operation overall. Pricing is clear, cancellation is automated in the portal, and there are no pressure tactics. However, Forbes and USA Today logos appear on the site with no sourcing links and a suspicious claim that both semaglutide and tirzepatide are somehow each “#1 Best of 2025.”

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Cancellation is automated right in the patient portal. Click your name, select “Profile,” scroll down, and cancel. Two discount offers to stay, then confirmation within 24 hours. Clean and easy.

Forbes and USA Today logos are displayed prominently with zero links for sourcing. If you’re going to claim media validation, show the receipts.

Both semaglutide and tirzepatide have a Forbes Health “Best of 2025” #1 GLP-1 icon. How can two different medications both be #1? There’s no link to verify either claim.

Operations Breakdown

Cancellation and Post-Cancellation Billing Perfect

Cancellation is straightforward and automated. In the patient portal, click your name in the upper right corner, select “Profile,” and scroll down to cancel. I don’t love that you have to share a reason for leaving, but the process itself is easy. The portal offered two discount offers to stay and instructions to reactivate if I change my mind. Cancellation should take effect within 24 hours after a manual account review.

Clear Pricing and Policies Perfect

Pricing is clearly listed on the site as a flat, all-in fee. The cancellation and refund policies are also clearly stated: month-to-month, no minimum commitments, no contracts, and you can cancel anytime through the portal. Once payment processes, no refunds. If a provider determines you’re not eligible after enrollment, you get a full refund. Straightforward.

Accuracy and Authenticity of Images Perfect

All patient and outcome images on the site appear authentic. No AI-generated before-and-after photos that I could identify.

Advertised Pricing Accuracy Perfect

Remedy Meds doesn’t appear to advertise specific pricing in its Meta ads, but it does run occasional discount promotions. Since the regular price at checkout matches what’s listed on the site, there’s no bait-and-switch happening here.

Media and Third-Party Validation Major issues

This is Remedy Meds’ biggest transparency failure. Forbes and USA Today logos are displayed on the site with no sourcing links. There’s also an icon on both semaglutide and tirzepatide in checkout, stating Forbes Health “Best of 2025” #1 GLP-1. How can both be #1? I was able to verify the Forbes claim by digging on my own. However, placing recognizable media logos on your site without easy verification does not invite trust.

Marketing Practices and Sales Pressure Perfect

No countdown timers, no aggressive alerts, no urgency messaging. Patients can browse and review options without being pushed toward a quick decision. Clean.

Clarity Around Medication Types and Limitations Perfect

Remedy Meds discloses that “compounded medications are regulated and compounding pharmacies are licensed and inspected by Boards of Pharmacy, but the FDA has not evaluated the medications for safety, quality, or efficacy.” I wouldn’t call it “clearly” disclosed since it’s in the tiniest, lightest font, but the information is there.

70

Patient Reviews & Real Experiences

What do recent customers think?

Remedy Meds sits somewhere in the middle overall. While Trustpilot reviews are largely positive, feedback on other platforms trends more negative, and clinic responses to complaints tend to be generic rather than directly addressing specific concerns.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Remedy Meds has a 4.6 rating on Trustpilot, with the majority of reviews being 5 stars; however, feedback across other platforms is mostly negative.

The Better Business Bureau rated Remedy Meds an F for failure to respond to 6 complaints and 11 complaints that remain unresolved.

Reddit feedback trends negative with frequent complaints about customer service, billing, and delivery, and the company holds an F rating from the BBB for failing to respond to six complaints and leaving 11 others unresolved.

Who Should Use Remedy Meds?

  • If you want same-day access to a doctor and same-day approval, Remedy Meds delivers. I could book a video consultation within 30 minutes of completing the intake, and my prescription was approved the same day. For patients who don’t want to wait days for an asynchronous review, this speed is a real advantage.
  • If you value a rich patient portal with educational resources, you’ll appreciate what Remedy Meds has built. The portal includes cooking videos for high-protein meals, videos on side effects, expert live speaking events, courses on building healthy habits, and articles on mental health and fitness. Most clinics give you a bare-bones dashboard. This one actually has substance.
  • For those who want predictable pricing that doesn’t change with your dose, Remedy Meds keeps it simple. Your $299/month for compounded semaglutide injections stays at $299 no matter your dose. No membership fees, no surprise price hikes when your prescriber adjusts your dosage.
  • If you prefer a tech-friendly but simple experience, this setup will work well for you. The main website has a clean, bare-bones clinic vibe that makes it user-friendly. The patient portal is straightforward too, which is especially helpful for patients who might be older or less tech-savvy.

Who is Remedy Meds Not For?

  • If pharmacy transparency matters to you, Remedy Meds has a gap. They confirmed the one pharmacy that filled my order, but wouldn’t disclose any others they work with — though they likely use more. I was able to verify the one I received medication from, but without knowing the rest, there’s no way to check their licensing or disciplinary records. Clinics like Mochi Health are more transparent about their pharmacy partners.
  • If you want a wide selection of GLP-1 formats, look elsewhere. Remedy Meds only offers compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide in injectable form. No oral tablets, drops, or microdose options. If you need more flexibility, Mochi Health offers the widest selection I’ve reviewed.
  • If you need lab work included in your plan, it’s not here. Labs aren’t required to start treatment, and Remedy Meds sends a recommendation for lab work, but you’ll need to arrange and pay for it yourself. Some clinics include labs at no extra cost.
  • If you live in Louisiana, Remedy Meds can’t serve you. It’s available in 49 states, with Louisiana as the only exclusion.
  • If transparent marketing matters to you, the media logos on the site are a red flag. There are no sourcing links for these claims, and the “Best of 2025” badges on two different medications don’t add up though some claims are verifiable. This won’t affect your treatment, but it’s worth knowing.

Final Verdict

OVERALL SCORE

73

Remedy Meds scores 73/100. The patient experience is genuinely strong: perfect 100/100 scores in both Patient Support and Medication Handling, same-day consultation availability, one-day shipping, and a patient portal packed with useful resources. The flat-rate pricing model is clean and fair, and Transparent Operations scored a solid 90/100.

The weak spots are real, though. A 67/100 in Legitimacy & Credentials reflects that I could only verify one pharmacy partner, the one that filled my order. When I called to ask, the phone agent told me the compounded medication comes from “your local pharmacy,” which is false. Some of the media logos on the site are verifiable, but patients shouldn’t have to hunt for proof of honest marketing. Patient Reviews at 70/100 show a clinic that’s doing okay but not exceptional on the feedback front.

If you can look past the pharmacy transparency gap and the questionable media badges, Remedy Meds delivers a genuinely good patient experience with straightforward pricing. It’s not the cheapest option, but the speed, support, and overall quality make it a solid contender.
