You can purchase the medication in bundles just be wary. They love to make it look like there’s some kind of bulk deal, but there’s not. It’s the same price no matter how many you get:

• $499 for 1 month 
• $998 for 2 months
• $1,497 for 3 months

This is currently the most realistic way to afford brand-name GLP-1s if you don’t have insurance coverage. But honestly, even people with insurance aren’t always in the clear.

With Insurance

Brand-name GLP-1s can hit your wallet hard, even with coverage, but manufacturer copay cards can take a big bite out of that cost.

NovoCare offers a savings card that can help bring the cost of your co-pay down to as low as $25 a month.^[9]

Sign-up is similar to the NovoCare cash program. It takes place through the same portal that checks qualifications and coverage.

Just be sure to check with your insurance, some employer plans don’t allow them, and government insurance like Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and TRICARE doesn’t qualify.

Once you’re approved, grab your card and save those BIN, PCN, Group, and ID numbers. This is the secret recipe your pharmacy needs to run your discount. If it doesn’t go through right away, ask them to “run it as secondary,” and call before pickup to make sure the savings actually showed up.

This national nonprofit helps with copays, deductibles, and coinsurance, even if you’re on Medicare. Its obesity copay grant can offer an initial $1,000 grant (up to $2,000 per year in total) for households earning up to 300 percent of the federal poverty level.^[10]
