What Is Invigor Medical?
Invigor Medical doesn’t just stop at weight loss. It also covers sexual health and longevity treatments. And at first, I was impressed; the site is far more transparent and user-friendly than most I’ve reviewed.
Usually I’m stuck digging around or emailing support just to figure out what’s included, where the meds come from, or what the final price is going to be. With Invigor, everything was right there in plain sight.
It was one of the rare times I didn’t have to chase anyone down for basic information, and I was so grateful—until I had to chase down the most basic information.
Remember when I said it doesn’t just stop at weight loss? Well, it barely begins at weight loss.
How Does Invigor Medical Work?
Invigor makes the process simple by laying out every step in plain sight, so you know exactly what to expect before you even get started.
Step 1: Intake
Start by creating an account, which gives you access to your personal patient portal. You’ll then prepay for your medication before your consultation. After checkout, you’ll complete a short online form with your medical history, weight goals, and lifestyle details.
Step 2: Provider Review & Prescription
A dedicated provider who will follow your care throughout treatment, review your intake, and may order lab work.
Consultations are delivered through telehealth, which can include videoconferencing, telephone, or asynchronous messaging. If approved, your medication is shipped directly to your door, typically within a few business days.
Step 3: Ongoing Support
There isn’t a built-in long-term support system like coaching or nutrition services, but your provider does monitor your progress, check for side effects, and adjust your treatment as needed. You’ll also have access to the patient portal for regular communication and continued support throughout your journey.
Treatment Options at Invigor Medical
Digging into the treatment options at Invigor revealed some serious flaws in the clinic’s weight-loss program.
First, GLP-1 treatment options were extremely limited. Yes, were.
Formerly, liraglutide was the only medication offered, in a compounded daily injection. But even that was hard to find. It was listed in a separate tab outside of the main weight-loss page, and only accessible through that specific tab.
Second, semaglutide was still listed as an option, even though it had already been discontinued. A small note mentioned “regulatory restrictions,” but the listing remained active.
Later, when I returned to the site, all GLP-1 options had been removed without notice. I went through the entire intake process, was recommended semaglutide, and landed on a 404 error when I tried to continue.
I had to call to confirm, and Invigor no longer offers GLP-1s at all. The team couldn’t say if or when they’ll return.
For a company that leads with transparency, the lack of communication here was a major letdown.
As of now, Invigor no longer offers an actual weight-loss treatment program.
The only options listed are lipo-B12 injections and low-dose naltrexone for weight-loss support. Neither is FDA approved for weight loss, and neither is backed by strong clinical evidence.[2]
Invigor Medical Pricing: Expensive for the Value (or Lack Thereof)
Invigor’s pricing feels expensive for the value you actually get, especially with limited treatment options and extras like shipping and labs not included.
Initial lab test: not included (pricing varies)
Invigor confirmed over the phone that lab testing is rare, but if your provider does order it, all tests are routed through its partnered labs, LabCorp and Quest.
You won’t be able to use your own local lab, and depending on your situation, you’ll either receive an at-home kit or be scheduled to complete the tests in person at a nearby LabCorp or Quest location.
We’ve seen a lot of clinics offering at-home kits lately, but we advise you to exercise caution with these. If you have a complicated medical history, you might want to get your lab work done in person. At-home kits are at higher risk for inaccuracy.[3]

Patients were expected to pay a premium price for liraglutide, an older GLP-1 that is generally less effective than newer options like semaglutide or tirzepatide.
As things are now, you’ll be paying as much for lipo-B12 injections or low-dose naltrexone as you would for actual GLP-1 drugs from another provider.
And while I can appreciate that medicine is included in the monthly subscription price, the combination of high cost, limited options, and few to no sweet extras, like free shipping or labs, presents more of a disservice than a deal.
How it compares:
This is how Invigor stacks up against other clinics at a similar price point, where you’ll see the differences in value, support, and treatment options.
- Henry Meds offers liraglutide (in addition to tirzepatide and semaglutide) injections starting at $179 per month, with shipping and basic labs included. It’s a straightforward option for those focused on affordability and simplicity, though support services are more limited compared to other providers.
- MEDVi provides tirzepatide injections starting at $279 per month, which includes comprehensive labs, personalized coaching, and free shipping. This makes it a strong choice for patients who want more structure and accountability as part of their treatment.
- Shed stands out by offering a wide variety of GLP-1 formats, including injectable and oral options. Pricing is competitive, and coaching is offered as a $49.99/month premium program, making it ideal for anyone who wants an all-in-one approach to sustainable weight loss.
Invigor, on the other hand, charged premium prices for an outdated GLP-1 and now offers no GLP-1s at all. With limited support and no proven medications currently available, it doesn’t hold up against the competition.
🚨 Wait! There’s a Better Value
Invigor’s pricing feels expensive for what you get. Labs and shipping aren’t included, and treatments like liraglutide, low-dose naltrexone, and lipo-B12 cost as much as newer, more effective GLP-1 medications elsewhere. Even worse, GLP-1s were discontinued without notice, leaving patients paying premium prices for outdated or limited treatments.

Lab Testing: What Gets Measured and Why It Matters
Invigor’s customer service told me labs are rarely required, but when they are, providers usually check things like A1C and fasting glucose for blood sugar, a lipid panel for cholesterol, and liver and kidney function to make sure the meds are safe.
These numbers matter because GLP-1s slow down digestion and change gut motility, which is why side effects like nausea, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, and gas are so common.[5] They can also cause kidney strain from dehydration, and gallbladder or biliary issues, with rare cases of pancreatitis showing up too.
That’s why providers sometimes add tests like amylase and lipase or order scans if abdominal pain pops up.
Even if labs aren’t routine, having them as part of the plan gives everyone peace of mind and helps track how your body’s handling treatment.
How often do you need labs?
The safest clinics usually require labs before you even start treatment, while some may skip them if you’re considered low risk.
Ideally, you’d want labs done at the beginning and again with each dose increase, or at least every 3–6 months, to make sure the medication is working safely and not causing unwanted side effects.
Always ask questions:
- Is lab testing included in the price?
- Do I have to go to a local lab, or is it an at-home kit?
- Will a provider actually review and explain my results?
🎯 Who Should Use Invigor Medical?
Invigor Medical may appeal to people looking for simple, prescription-based support tools.
Lipo-B12 injections or low-dose naltrexone treatments are marketed to help with energy, appetite, or inflammation, but they are not proven weight-loss medications.
For patients who aren’t ready for GLP-1s or want to try supportive therapies first, Invigor offers a low-effort, low-touch option without long-term commitments or coaching requirements.
It’s a match for patients who are fine with basic telehealth support.
Invigor is set up for quick online consultations, follow-ups, and messaging through a patient portal. It’s convenient and discreet.
If you value policy transparency, you’ll appreciate how clearly Invigor lays things out.
Invigor does a better job than most of laying out pharmacy partners and policies. If you’ve been frustrated with hidden costs or vague answers from other telehealth providers, this kind of clarity might be a good fit, even if it’s not the best at updating the website right away when things change.
🚫 Who Is Invigor Medical Not For?
Invigor Medical is not a good fit for people who need hands-on medical supervision or have complex health conditions. Telehealth is useful, but it cannot replace in-person care in all cases.[6]
A full physical exam and direct assessment are often essential for safety and accuracy, and complex obesity care works best in a multidisciplinary, team-based setting with clinicians, dietitians, and exercise specialists coordinating care.
It is also not the right choice for people looking for a full support ecosystem. If you want coaching, dietitians, behavioral support, app tools, or a “healthy living system” built in, you will not get that here.
Invigor’s model is mostly prescription and check-ins, and research shows combining behavioral programs with GLP-1 treatments leads to significantly better long-term results.[7]
Finally, Invigor Medical is not ideal for those who want access to the most advanced GLP-1 treatments. Liraglutide is the older GLP-1 cousin that requires a daily shot, and it just doesn’t deliver the same weight loss. In clinical studies, people on semaglutide lost about 12% of their body weight compared to only around 5% with liraglutide.[8]
Both drugs can cause the usual side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and fatigue. The severity of side effects can often depend on the individual and the dosage. However, some studies suggest that the side effects of liraglutide may be harder to tolerate than semaglutide.[9]
Not that it matters now, since Invigor no longer offers any GLP-1 medications at all.

Real User Experience With Invigor Medical
Invigor Medical’s Trustpilot rating is sitting at 4.5 stars with over 1,700 reviews, the majority of which were patients raving about Maddy’s customer service.
I spoke with her myself and found her polite, helpful, and quick to respond.
Most of the one-star reviews focus on slow shipping and frustration over not getting refunds.
I also came across low ratings from customers who said their orders showed up missing essential supplies.
All in all, I didn’t see a pattern of serious medical risks, but I did notice recurring communication issues that reinforced my own experience with the sudden website changes.
Final Verdict
Invigor Medical gets points for policy transparency and clear pricing, but beyond that, it falls short.
The clinic initially offered liraglutide, but it was hard to find on the site, and semaglutide was still listed even after it had been discontinued.
When I checked back later, all GLP-1 options had been removed entirely, without any notice or update to explain the change. That lack of communication added to the confusion and made it impossible to know what was actually available.
Regardless, Invigor didn’t pass our Price & Trust Transparency Score™ even when it offered liraglutide. It checked a few surface-level boxes, but it didn’t deliver the value or support patients deserve, especially at this price point.
