BEFORE WE DIG IN

Before reviewing, I signed up with Gimme Care, recorded the process, and gathered the key info you need to see if it’s a good fit. This review follows NNC’s Price & Trust Transparency Score methodology, which evaluates providers across true cost analysis and safety & legitimacy.

Disclosure: I’m a paid contributor to NutritionNC.com and was not compensated by Gimme Care for this review.

Step 1: Sign up and complete your intake.

Head to Gimme Care and start the intake questionnaire. The form is short, and the site itself is clean and easy to navigate. Everything is digital and asynchronous from the start.

Step 2: Pick your medication and plan.

Select between compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide injections and choose either a monthly plan or the three-month bundle. Pricing is shown clearly before you commit, with no membership fee tacked on.

Step 3: Provider reviews your file asynchronously.

A licensed clinician from the Bask Telehealth network reviews your intake. There is no required video visit. My prescription was approved the next day.

Step 4: Receive your medication.

Overnight shipping is included, and the package arrived in insulated cold-chain packaging with two large ice packs still mostly frozen. The medication, supplies, and pharmacy injection instructions were all neatly organized inside.

Step 5: Continue care through the patient portal.

Medication ships every 28 days after a quick check-in. You get unlimited messaging access to your provider for dose adjustments, follow-ups, and questions through the patient portal.

Coaching & Lifestyle

Gimme Care does not offer behavior coaching, nutrition support, fitness guidance, or a patient community. Medication and provider messaging only.

1 The safety and efficacy of compounded, oral, and microdosed meds, as well as those that have not been inspected and approved by the FDA, cannot be guaranteed.

For my review, I tested and scored Gimme Care across six key areas that matter most: true cost, legitimacy, patient support, shipping standards, transparency, and real customer feedback.

Here’s everything I found:

89

True Cost Analysis

How clear and fair is Gimme Care’s pricing?

Gimme Care’s pricing is refreshingly simple. At $160/month for compounded semaglutide injections, the cost includes shipping, supplies, unlimited messaging, and the medication itself. No membership fees, no surprise add-ons. Few competitors match that. A roundup of genuinely membership-free GLP-1 providers puts the cheapest qualifying option at $119 per order.

The one snag is in advertising. Meta ads quote the three-month bundle price ($130/mo) as if it were the monthly rate, which is misleading until you read the fine print.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Pricing is shown plainly on the site. Compounded semaglutide is $160/mo, and a 3-month bundle brings it down to $130/mo. Tirzepatide is $199/mo or $163/mo on the 3-month bundle.

What you see on the site is what you pay at checkout. No surprise platform fees, no first-month bait. Shipping, supplies, and unlimited messaging are all included.

Meta ads appear to advertise the 3-month bundle price as if it were the monthly cost. If you click through expecting $130/mo, you’ll find the actual monthly rate is $160.

Pricing Breakdown

Not included

Lab work is not included and not required. Gimme Care does not partner with a lab service, so if your provider wants labs, you’ll need to arrange those on your own.

There is no separate membership or platform fee. Your monthly cost covers the medication, shipping, supplies, and unlimited provider messaging.

  • Coaching and lifestyle support Gimme Care does not include any coaching, behavior change, or lifestyle programs. If structured guidance matters to you, you’ll need to find it elsewhere.
  • Nutritional support No nutrition coaching, meal plans, or dietary guidance are included with any Gimme Care plan.

Safety & Legitimacy

Is this provider trustworthy and properly licensed?

Gimme Care is LegitScript certified, HIPAA compliant, and has a verifiable US business address. Those are the strong points. The concern is pharmacy transparency: Gimme Care declined to name its pharmacy partners, citing variation by state and order volume.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Gimme Care holds active LegitScript certification. This is the industry gold standard and confirms basic compliance and safety standards.

Gimme Care doesn’t list pharmacy names publicly, stating that the fulfilling pharmacy varies by state and order volume. Without disclosure, disciplinary history can’t be verified.

The Wilmington, DE, business address is clearly listed and verifiable: 251 Little Falls Drive is a real, registered location.

Credentials Breakdown

LegitScript Certification Verified

LegitScript certification is the industry gold standard for online healthcare providers, and Gimme Care’s certification shows it meets rigorous standards for safety, compliance, and trustworthy online practices.

HIPAA Compliant Perfect

Gimme Care’s HIPAA privacy notice is clearly posted inside the privacy policy and easy to find. No concerns here.

Clean Provider Records Minor issues

Gimme Care partners with Bask Telehealth LLC to staff prescribing clinicians. This disclosure is great because most clinics either don’t share that info or hire their own providers directly and keep their profiles on the downlow. The gap is on the pharmacy side. Gimme Care declined to share pharmacy names with me when asked, citing that fulfillment varies by state and order volume. That’s a fair operational reason, but it means I can’t independently verify whether the pharmacies have a clean disciplinary record.

US Address Perfect

251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808. Verifiable and clearly listed.

Patient Support & Comprehensive Care

How easy is it to get help from real people?

Reaching a human at Gimme Care takes effort. There is no phone line at all, the chat starts with AI and only routes to a human during weekday business hours, and email is the most reliable path. Clinical access is the strong point: Unlimited provider messaging through the patient portal once you’re a patient.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Chat starts with AI. Off-hours, it routes you to email. During business hours (M–F, 8 a.m.–6 p.m. EST), you can reach a human, but weekend coverage is limited.

There is no phone number for Gimme Care. The clinic confirms in its own chat: “We don’t have a phone number for support right now.”

Email at hi@gimme.care is the most reliable channel. Responses come during business hours in the order received. Allow a day or two for a reply.

Support & Care Breakdown

Live Chat Human/AI

Chat begins with AI and routes to a human during weekday business hours (M–F, 8 a.m.–6 p.m. EST), with limited weekend support. Off-hours, the AI directs you to email instead. For most nonurgent questions, this is fine, but anyone expecting instant access will be disappointed.

Phone Support N/A

There is no phone support. Gimme Care explicitly states it doesn’t currently offer a phone number for support. If you prefer voice contact with your clinic, this is a hard miss.

Email Human

Email support at hi@gimme.care is staffed by humans during business hours. Responses arrive in the order received, so it’s not instant, but it is reliable. This is the channel I’d default to.

Clinical Access & Oversight Good

Once you’re a patient, clinical access is solid. Medication ships every 28 days after a short check-in, and you can track and monitor everything through the online portal. Unlimited messaging access to your provider for follow-ups, dose adjustments, and questions is included with the monthly cost.

100

Medication Handling & Shipping Standards

How well shipped and packaged are the medications?

Gimme Care earned a perfect score here. Cold-chain shipping was textbook, supplies were extra-generous, and my medication arrived overnight with tracking. There was nothing to nitpick.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

A thick padded insulated package sat inside a sturdy outer box with no signs of damage. Two large soft ice packs were still mostly frozen in the center on arrival.

All required injection supplies were included, plus extra sharps and a generous pile of alcohol wipes (more than I usually see). The pharmacy included a clear injection and storage instruction sheet.

Tracking was available in email, the app, and the patient portal. Overnight delivery arrived on time with no issues.

Shipping Standards Breakdown

Cold-Chain Shipping Standards Perfect

Two large soft ice packs, both still mostly frozen in the center when the box arrived, kept the medication at the right temperature. The padded insulated inner package was nested inside a larger sturdy outer box with no signs of damage in transit. Cold-chain handling was done right.

Packaging Quality & Security Perfect

The medication itself sat in a small box inside a small ziplock, inside the insulated package, sandwiched between the ice packs. Supplies were in a separate package inside the box. The setup was tidy—no leftover moisture, no residue from the ice packs, and nothing shifting around. Professional and well-organized.

Supplies & Instructions Perfect

Extra sharps and a noticeably generous supply of alcohol wipes were included. The pharmacy added a folded paper with injection instructions, what to expect, and storage guidance, though there was no branding from Gimme Care itself on the materials. No prefilled syringes, so you draw and inject yourself, but the instructions cover everything you need.

Tracking & Delivery Perfect

Overnight shipping with tracking provided through email, the app, and the patient portal. The medication arrived on time, exactly as promised.

Transparent Operations

How honest is Gimme Care in its policies and communications?

Gimme Care scores highly here, with perfect marks on cancellation, pricing, image authenticity, and marketing tactics. Two flaws in this category are advertised pricing inaccuracy (Meta ads quote the bundle price as the monthly rate) and unnamed pharmacies that can’t be independently vetted.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Cancellation is one-click. Go to “treatments,” then “plan,” then “Cancel End Subscription,” then “confirm.” It takes effect immediately with no charges after.

Instead of an “as seen on” media bar, Gimme Care advertises strengths like “licensed US pharmacies.” That’s the right instinct, but pharmacy names aren’t disclosed, so the claim can’t be verified.

No countdown timers, no urgency banners, no forced upsells. You can review your options without sales pressure.

Operations Breakdown

Cancellation and Post-Cancellation Billing Perfect

This is one of the easiest cancellations I’ve ever tested. In the patient portal, go to “Treatments,” then “Plan,” and click “Cancel End Subscription,” then “confirm.” It takes effect immediately, with no charges after. No email runarounds, no retention gauntlet. I love it when clinics keep things this simple.

Clear Pricing and Policies Perfect

Pricing is listed plainly on the site as a flat, all-in monthly fee. Everything is included except lab work, which isn’t required anyway. The price doesn’t change per dose, and there are no hidden fees.

Accuracy and Authenticity of Images Perfect

All patient and outcome images on Gimme Care’s website appear authentic. No AI-generated photos.

Advertised Pricing Accuracy Minor issues

Meta ads appear to advertise the three-month bundle price ($130/mo) as if it were the standalone monthly price. The actual monthly rate is $160. The ad isn’t an outright fabrication since the $130 number is real, but it’s misleading until you click through and read the fine print.

Media and Third-Party Validation Minor issues

Gimme Care skips the “as seen on” media logo bar most clinics use. Instead, it advertises its own strengths, like “no membership fees, licensed US pharmacies, free shipping.” I appreciate the instinct, but the “licensed US pharmacies” claim can’t be verified because Gimme Care refuses to disclose which pharmacies it works with.

Marketing Practices and Sales Pressure Perfect

No countdown timers, no urgency messaging, no forced prompts. You can review your options at your own pace.

Clarity Around Medication Types and Limitations Minor issues

Gimme Care doesn’t carry any branded GLP-1 medications, only compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide injections. It clearly states that compounded versions are not FDA approved, which is the right disclosure. Adding more context on the safety and efficacy limits of compounded products would round this out.

25

Patient Reviews & Real Experiences

What do recent customers think?

Patient feedback is where Gimme Care stumbles hardest. Trustpilot sits at 4.1, but Reddit threads show mixed experiences with inconsistent dosing and customer service complaints, and the BBB lists 10 complaints in the last three years plus appearances on its scam tracker. Clinic responses to negative reviews read as passive aggressive and often overshare patient details.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

A 4.1 on Trustpilot is decent on the surface, but the actual review content is more mixed than the star rating suggests.

No formal BBB rating, but 10 complaints in three years and multiple appearances on BBB’s scam tracker. That’s not a one-off.

Reddit threads describe a mix of affordability wins and complaints about inconsistent dosing, customer service issues, and severe side effects in some cases.

Who Should Use Gimme Care?

  • If you want flat-rate, no-surprise pricing on compounded GLP-1s, Gimme Care hits the mark. Compounded semaglutide injections are $160/month all-in, with shipping, supplies, and unlimited provider messaging included.
  • For those who want to skip labs and video visits, Gimme Care is one of the fastest paths to medication. Intake is short, no labs are required, and prescribing is fully asynchronous with a 48-hour turnaround.
  • If shipping quality and packaging matter to you, Gimme Care won’t disappoint. Overnight delivery, two large ice packs, padded insulated packaging, and a generous supply of injection materials make this one of the best-shipped clinics I’ve reviewed.
  • If easy, no-drama cancellation matters to you, you’ll like the way Gimme Care does it. Two clicks inside the portal and your subscription ends immediately—no calls, no emails, and no retention pressure.

Who is Gimme Care Not For?

  • If you need a phone line to reach your clinic, give Gimme Care a hard pass. There is no phone support at all. Email and chat are your only options, and chat routes to AI during off hours.
  • If you want full pharmacy transparency, Gimme Care won’t satisfy you. Pharmacy partners are not disclosed publicly, which means you cannot independently verify the licensing or disciplinary history of who is filling your prescription. Pomegranate Health names its pharmacy partners openly, if that matters to you.
  • If branded GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, or Zepbound are what you want, look elsewhere. Mochi Health and Eden offer much wider selections.
  • If you want coaching, nutrition guidance, or community support alongside your medication, then Gimme Care won’t be a fit. Clinics like MEDVi and Henry Meds include structured lifestyle support at no extra cost. Patients with preexisting conditions may appreciate the more hands-on approach.
  • If a clinic’s public review history is a deal-breaker for you, then Gimme Care’s 10 BBB complaints, scam tracker appearances, and defensive clinic responses on Trustpilot deserve a close read before signing up.

Final Verdict

OVERALL SCORE

84

Gimme Care scores 80/100. Its biggest strengths are a perfect 100/100 in Medication Handling and high scores in True Cost Analysis and Transparent Operations. The $160/month flat rate is genuinely competitive, the overnight shipping was flawless, and the cancellation flow is the easiest I’ve tested.

The drag on the score comes from bad patient reviews and the lack of pharmacy disclosure. Ten BBB complaints as well as scam tracker appearances are not minor, and clinic responses to negative reviews come across as defensive and oversharing. A lack of phone support rounds out the operational weaknesses.

If transparent pricing, fast asynchronous care, and excellent shipping matter most to you, Gimme Care is a strong pick at this price. But go in with eyes open, read the recent Trustpilot and BBB feedback yourself before committing, and accept that you won’t know which pharmacy is filling your prescription.
