BEFORE WE DIG IN

Before reviewing, I signed up with OrderlyMeds, recorded the process, and gathered the key info you need to see if it’s a good fit. This review follows NNC’s Price & Trust Transparency Score methodology, which evaluates providers across true cost analysis and safety & legitimacy.

Disclosure: I’m a paid contributor to NutritionNC.com and was not compensated by OrderlyMeds for this review.

Step 1: Sign up and complete your intake.

Head to patients.orderlymeds.com/eligibility and start the screening. The intake covers medical history, weight, and goals, but it also requires a full-body clothed photo, a government ID, and an emergency contact. Most clinics ask for none of those at this stage.

Step 2: Confirm your phone number by replying to a text.

The order confirmation explicitly says the clinic will not prescribe unless you respond to text messages. Miss the text and the order silently stalls.

Step 3: Wait for the provider’s asynchronous review.

Consultations happen in the patient portal chat. Live video is only triggered for patients in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Kansas, Rhode Island, or West Virginia. My portal sat on a “your provider will review your order in 48 hours” message for days with no explanation.

Step 4: Provider approves the prescription.

Once a provider responded, multiple providers played phone tag with me. There was no real-time messaging, just one-message-per-day exchanges, each time with a different provider. Approval came 14 days after I placed my order, well past the 48-hour timeline the clinic advertises.

Step 5: Receive your medication.

Once I was approved, it took three days for the medication to ship and three more for it to arrive. The package arrived in a thick styrofoam box with two gel ice packs that had melted but kept the inside cold. Tracking came by email only, not in the portal.

Step 6: Reorder and continue care.

Each monthly refill requires a new short intake form and an asynchronous provider review. Provider access is unlimited, and the every-day-a-different-doctor pattern continued on my refill cycle too.

Customer Support

Limited

Phone support at (866) 971-5161 is staffed Monday through Friday 9 a.m.–9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m. AI chat is available 24/7 on the main site, but email at support@orderlymeds.com is essentially nonfunctional in my experience.

Coaching & Lifestyle

Included

Every plan includes the free Trainerize app, access to a personal trainer, access to a nutritionist with personalized meal plans, one free month of BetterHelp for mental health support, and a Facebook community. These are a lot of perks for $149/mo.

1 The safety and efficacy of compounded, oral, and microdosed medications, including treatments that have not been inspected and approved by the FDA, cannot be guaranteed. GLP-1 medications may not be appropriate for everyone. Patients should disclose a history of pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, severe gastrointestinal disease, kidney disease or dehydration risk, use of diabetes medications such as insulin or sulfonylureas, pregnancy or plans for pregnancy, and any personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2. Patients should seek medical help for severe or persistent vomiting, signs of dehydration, severe abdominal pain, symptoms of gallbladder disease, allergic reaction, or possible overdose.

For my review, I tested and scored OrderlyMeds across six key areas that matter most: true cost, legitimacy, patient support, shipping standards, transparency, and real customer feedback.

Here’s everything I found:

True Cost Analysis

How clear and fair is OrderlyMeds’s pricing?

OrderlyMeds posts a flat $149/mo for compounded semaglutide and $299/mo for compounded tirzepatide right on the pricing tab. There are no hidden fees, no surprise platform charges, and the cost includes the nutritionist, trainer, Trainerize app, and Facebook community.

The problem is the bundle math. New patients are required to start on a three-month “starter pack” priced as a single up-front payment, but that’s not all. The two-month bundle is shown as a lump sum rather than a per-month rate, and when you do the math it’s not even a discounted price; it’s the same as the monthly price. It’s much harder than it should be to compare prices.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

The pricing tab shows every tier in one place: a starter bundle for new patients, a repeat-patient discount, a monthly rate, and a two-month bundle. It’s fully transparent if not a bit extra.

What I saw on the pricing tab matched what I paid at checkout. No hidden fees, no upsells slipped in at the last step.

OrderlyMeds does not appear to advertise pricing in Meta ads, so there is no misleading first-month promo on social platforms to set false expectations.

Pricing Breakdown

Not included

Lab work is not included and not required. The clinic does not partner with a lab service, so any blood work would have to be arranged on your own through a primary care provider or third-party lab.

None

There is no separate membership or platform fee. Your monthly cost is the medication price only.

Compounded semaglutide (injection)

$149
Repeat-patient three-month starter bundle: $335 ($111/mo)
New-to-GLP-1 three-month starter bundle: $224 ($74/mo)

Compounded tirzepatide (injection)

$299
Repeat-patient three-month starter bundle: $670 ($223/mo)
New-to-GLP-1 three-month starter bundle: $449 ($149/mo)

Wegovy

$1,839/mo

Zepbound

$1,498/mo

Patients who have not used a GLP-1 in the last two months are forced into the three-month starter bundle and do not have access to the monthly option.

Safety & Legitimacy

Is this provider trustworthy and properly licensed?

OrderlyMeds is LegitScript certified and HIPAA compliant, and it operates from a verifiable Decatur, Georgia, address. However, two of the five named pharmacy partners have active FDA enforcement and state-board action, including warning letters, recalls, and pharmacist-license probation tied to counterfeit Ozempic.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

OrderlyMeds holds an active LegitScript certification, which confirms it meets the basic compliance and safety standards required for online healthcare advertising.

ProRx LLC, one of the five named pharmacies, has two FDA Warning Letters, two voluntary recalls of sterile compounded GLP-1s, and an open 483. None are resolved.

OrderlyMeds LLC is registered at 235 Ponce De Leon Place, Suite M347, Decatur, GA 30030. It’s clearly listed in the privacy policy and easy to verify.

Credentials Breakdown

LegitScript Certification Verified

LegitScript certification is the industry gold standard for online healthcare providers, and OrderlyMeds’ certification shows it meets rigorous standards for safety, compliance, and trustworthy online practices.

HIPAA Compliant Perfect

The HIPAA privacy notice is clearly posted in the privacy policy and easy to find. The notice has not been updated since October 18, 2024, which is worth flagging as a maintenance gap, but the policy itself is present.

Clean Provider Records Minor issues

OrderlyMeds works through Beluga Health, a medical-staffing agency with board-certified physicians licensed in all 50 states, so the clinician side checks out. Of the five pharmacies named, two have issues. PerfectRx/PerfectionRx is linked to Iowa-based SmartScripts, which was fined $25,000 by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy in August 2025 and had its CEO’s pharmacist license placed on probation for selling counterfeit Ozempic®, with a related multi-million-dollar civil settlement following. ProRx LLC in Exton, PA, is the most heavily sanctioned partner, with two FDA Warning Letters (March 2025 and April 2026), two voluntary sterile-product recalls covering compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide in August 2024 and October 2025, an open FDA 483 from September/October 2025, and an explicit FDA warning of possible seizure or injunction. Casa, Pharmacy Hub, and SmartPharmaRx had no warning letters, 483s, or board actions that I could find.

US Address Perfect

Patient Support & Comprehensive Care

How easy is it to get help from real people?

Phone support is the bright spot. Every time I called, a human answered, and they were patient enough to loop in tech support and walk me through the broken portal. Email is the opposite story: I never got a real reply, only silence. Clinical access is solid in theory, but every refill brought a different provider, with no continuity.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Chat on the main site is AI-only, but the AI was quick and got me a useful answer fast.

The phone line at (866) 971-5161 runs Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m. A real human answered every time I called.

Email support at support@orderlymeds.com never produced a reply for me. Days went by between my outreach and any acknowledgment.

Support & Care Breakdown

Live Chat AI

Chat on the main site is AI-only, but unlike most AI bots in this category, it was responsive and useful for quick questions. Quotes and pricing answers came back accurate and fast. If you need an actual human, this is not the channel.

Phone Support Human

A real person answered every single call I placed at (866) 971-5161 during business hours. Reps were patient and polite, and during my worst stretch they manually contacted the internal tech team to figure out why my portal would not let me log in. Phone is the only channel I trust here.

Email Automated

Email at support@orderlymeds.com is functionally broken from my testing. Days passed between my outreach and any response, and I never got a meaningful reply to my order-status question. The clinic appears to use email mostly for automated order confirmations rather than two-way support.

Clinical Access & Oversight Good

OrderlyMeds advertises unlimited provider contact through the patient portal chat, which checks out once you have access. The real issue is that a different provider answered me every day, with no real-time back-and-forth. Each provider read my last message, replied once, and the next exchange was with someone new. Solid clinical reach, scattered handoff.

100

Medication Handling & Shipping Standards

How well shipped and packaged are the medications?

Once the medication finally shipped, OrderlyMeds handled the cold chain well. Two gel ice packs and a thick styrofoam box kept the vial cool from the pharmacy to my door. Supplies and pharmacy instructions were inside, though there were no branded clinic materials and the vial itself shipped loose in a small bubble-wrap pouch instead of a rigid bottle.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

The styrofoam box is thick and rigid, with two gel ice packs that melted in transit but kept the interior cool. Cold chain handled correctly.

The vial shipped loose in a small bubble-wrap pouch inside a ziplock alongside the other supplies. It was not in a prescription bottle.

Tracking arrived by email only. The portal did not show shipping status. Shipping took three days from when the label was created.

Shipping Standards Breakdown

Cold-Chain Shipping Standards Perfect

Two gel ice packs sat inside a thick styrofoam box, and even though both packs were melted on arrival, the inside of the box was still cool and the medication was unaffected. The cold chain held through the shipping window.

Packaging Quality & Security Perfect

The styrofoam shell is rigid and sealed, with the medication and all supplies organized inside an inner ziplock pouch. Nothing shifted in transit, and the bubble-wrap inside the ziplock protected the vial well enough that it arrived intact.

Supplies & Instructions Perfect

Every required injection supply was in the box, including sharps and alcohol wipes, with no prefilled syringes. The pharmacy included storage and injection instructions on its own paperwork. What was missing was any branded OrderlyMeds material—no welcome card, no clinic-issued injection guide, and no first-time-patient orientation sheet. For a clinic that bundles a nutritionist and a personal trainer, the absence of clinic materials in the box was strange.

Tracking & Delivery Perfect

Tracking came by email and arrived on time at every step. Shipping took three days from when the label was created.

90

Transparent Operations

How honest is OrderlyMeds in its policies and communications?

OrderlyMeds is more transparent than most clinics on pricing and advertising. The pricing tab spells out every tier on the main site, marketing is free of urgency tactics, and there are no fake media badges plastered across the homepage. The friction comes around cancellation and the bundle math, both of which are workable but unnecessarily awkward.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Cancellation requests in the patient portal chat are redirected to a phone call instead of being processed in-chat, which should be unnecessary.

The site displays media logos for MSN, NPR, Planet Money, and Reuters. They contain no links but have been independently verified.

The checkout flow is free of urgency tactics. No countdown timers, no fake low-stock warnings, no aggressive pop-ups before payment.

Operations Breakdown

Cancellation and Post-Cancellation Billing Minor issues

I tried to cancel through the patient portal chat and was told to call instead. Calling worked, the rep was polite, and they asked why I wanted to cancel before “messaging their supervisor.” We then sat in awkward silence for about 10 minutes until the cancellation was confirmed. Because OrderlyMeds is not a recurring subscription, automatic billing never happens, so the formal cancellation step is more about getting off any future auto-charge prompts than stopping a renewal. The whole thing took longer than it should have.

Clear Pricing and Policies Perfect

Pricing is listed in a dedicated tab on the main site with a full breakdown of every tier. Flat $149/mo for compounded semaglutide, flat $299/mo for compounded tirzepatide, plus new-patient starter bundles and repeat-patient discounts. No platform fee, no shipping fee, no surprise charges at checkout.

Accuracy and Authenticity of Images Perfect

The patient and outcome images on the site look authentic, not AI-generated. Some background stock imagery looks generated, but there is no pattern of fake patient testimonials, which is what actually matters.

Advertised Pricing Accuracy Perfect

OrderlyMeds does not advertise pricing outside of the main site. There is no Meta ad bait-and-switch, no email coupon that disappears at checkout, and no first-month promo that resets at twice the price the following month. What you see on the pricing tab is what you pay.

Media and Third-Party Validation Minor issues

The site displays media logos for MSN, NPR, Planet Money, and Reuters. While the logos themselves do not link anywhere on the site, the mentions have been independently verified. Most clinics display media logos or badges that are difficult or impossible to verify, so seeing legitimate placements here was refreshing. That said, direct links to the coverage would be preferred.

Marketing Practices and Sales Pressure Perfect

The checkout flow is calm. No countdown timers, no scarcity messaging, no forced pop-ups between intake and payment. You can take your time and compare tiers without being pushed.

Clarity Around Medication Types and Limitations Minor issues

OrderlyMeds sells only compounded injections and branded injections, and the site clearly states that compounded medications are not FDA approved. What is missing is any explanation of how compounded GLP-1s differ from branded GLP-1s in terms of formulation, evidence, or expected outcomes. The disclaimer is present, but the patient education that should accompany it is not.

Patient Reviews & Real Experiences

What do recent customers think?

Trustpilot is mixed at 3.4 stars, Reddit threads are split, and the BBB has an active business alert for a “pattern of complaints” tied to delayed or nondelivery of medication, refund refusals, and customer service issues. The BBB description reads almost exactly like the experience I had with my first order. Public review responses are personalized rather than generic.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Trustpilot sits at 3.7 stars for OrderlyMeds, which is below the average for clinics I’ve reviewed. The mix of one-star and five-star reviews matches the Reddit pattern.

The BBB has an active “Pattern of Complaints” alert that covers delayed deliveries, refund refusals, account-credit-instead-of-refund tactics, and difficulty canceling.

Reddit threads on OrderlyMeds split sharply: positive notes on affordability and product effectiveness, negative notes on customer service, shipping, billing, and pharmacy concerns.

Who Should Use OrderlyMeds?

  • For bundled lifestyle support without paying extra, OrderlyMeds delivers more than most. The free Trainerize app, access to a personal trainer, a nutritionist with meal plans, one free month of BetterHelp, and a Facebook community are all included in the $149/mo flat fee.
  • Those who want a flat low price with no platform fees will find OrderlyMeds one of the cheapest options around. The pricing tab is transparent, and the monthly cost includes everything the clinic offers.
  • If you prefer a clinic that answers the phone with a real person, you’ll like OrderlyMeds. A human picked up every single call during business hours, and the reps were patient enough to loop in tech support during my portal issues.
  • If you want a long-haul plan and care about cash math, the bundle starters at OrderlyMeds can lower the per-month cost. The new-patient three-month bundle for compounded semaglutide drops to $74/mo paid as $224 up front, which is among the lowest tiers I have seen, though it locks you into three months.

Who is OrderlyMeds Not For?

  • If you need your medication on a tight timeline, OrderlyMeds is a serious risk. My first prescription took 20 days end-to-end and my second took 16 days. The clinic advertises 48-hour approval and 5–10-day fulfillment, neither of which matched my experience. Clinics like Fridays or Mochi Health approved and shipped in a fraction of the time.
  • If pharmacy regulatory cleanliness matters to you, then the OrderlyMeds network is hard to defend. PerfectRx/PerfectionRx is linked to a $25,000 Iowa Board fine and counterfeit-Ozempic findings, and ProRx is carrying two unresolved FDA Warning Letters, two recalls, and an open 483. Pomegranate Health and GobyMeds name pharmacy partners with cleaner records.
  • If you want a single dedicated provider, keep looking. A different provider answered every time I reached out, with no real-time back-and-forth. Patients who value continuity of care will feel like they are starting over with each provider exchange.
  • If you need any insurance coverage, you won’t find it at OrderlyMeds. It does not bill insurance for branded GLP-1s, which can cost $1500 or more. Clinics like Mochi Health or Zealthy accept insurance for brand-name medications.
  • If sharing an emergency contact or a full-body clothed photo feels invasive at sign-up, then OrderlyMeds will push past your comfort zone. Both are required during intake, and the photo serves no purpose beyond confirming the patient is overweight, which is information the medical questionnaire already captures.

Final Verdict

OVERALL SCORE

94

OrderlyMeds scores 94/100 on the rubric, with a perfect 100/100 in True Cost Analysis and an 87/100 Safety & Legitimacy Verification Score. The flat $149/mo compounded semaglutide pricing, the bundled nutritionist and trainer, and the human phone support are the standouts.

The concerns sit in the experience the score sheet cannot capture. My first prescription took 20 days end-to-end, the patient portal locked me out at one point, and the pharmacy network includes ProRx with two active FDA Warning Letters and PerfectRx/PerfectionRx with counterfeit-Ozempic® findings. The BBB has an active “Pattern of Complaints” alert covering the exact issues I ran into.

If you’re willing to take a chance on slow fulfillment and want the bundled coaching at this price tier, OrderlyMeds works. If you need medication quickly or want a pharmacy partner free of active enforcement, look elsewhere.
