BEFORE WE DIG IN

Before reviewing, I signed up with Lavender Sky Health, recorded the process, and gathered the key info you need to see if it’s a good fit. This review follows NNC’s Price & Trust Transparency Score methodology, which evaluates providers across true cost analysis and safety & legitimacy.

Disclosure: I’m a paid contributor to NutritionNC.com and was not compensated by Lavender Sky Health for this review.

Step 1: Book your consult and complete intake.

There’s no traditional “click start and go” flow. The first thing the site asks is whether you want an e-consult (asynchronous) or a phone consult. The intake itself is detailed: ID upload, occupation, ethnicity, marital status, workout routine, and diet. Some of those fields felt unnecessary and invasive.

Step 2: Pay the $65 consultation fee.

After the intake form, you land on a checkout page for the consultation fee. The payment portal looks dated, almost old-timey, and didn’t inspire confidence. After payment, you’re left on a receipt page with no buttons to navigate to the patient portal or back to the homepage.

Step 3: Wait for provider review.

It can take up to three business days for a licensed provider to review your submission, but it’s usually one to two. My provider message arrived within 24 hours.

Step 4: Read your treatment plan in the portal.

Your provider sends a message in the patient portal with a summary of what they’re prescribing. Oddly, the portal shows summaries for every medication and every pharmacy, even ones you aren’t using. It’s transparent in theory but cluttered and confusing in practice.

Step 5: Choose your pharmacy and pay the medication invoice.

Lavender Sky Health routes prescriptions through 13 named pharmacies, and you can pick which one fills yours. After your provider sends the plan, an invoice for the medication appears under the “invoices” tab in the portal.

Step 6: Receive your medication.

Shipping took two days from order to doorstep, though an email warned it could take anywhere from as many as 10 days. Tracking arrived in my email inbox. Strangely, the patient portal has tabs for almost everything but no shipping or tracking section.

Step 7: Refill via consultation each time.

Every refill requires a new consultation. Refill consultations cost $40. You can choose between async messaging and a phone visit, which is more clinical contact than most clinics require.

Treatment Options

Branded & compounded

Brand-name medications carry a separate $25/month treatment plan fee on top of the medication cost. Foundayo comes only in oral format, and Wegovy is available as an oral or injectable treatment. Beyond GLP-1s, Lavender Sky also offers weight-loss and wellness products such as naltrexone/bupropion, NAD+, sermorelin, and lipotropics.

Insurance Eligibility

Not accepted

Lavender Sky Health does not accept insurance for any treatments.

HSA/FSA Eligibility

Accepted

Both HSA and FSA cards are accepted, along with major credit cards. A letter of medical necessity is available on request to support FSA/HSA reimbursement, though Lavender Sky Health does not run prior authorizations or bill insurance directly.

Lavender Sky Health serves patients in all 50 states.

Customer Support

Limited

Support is available by phone at (843) 259-2393 and email at info@lavenderskyhealth.com, and an in-portal messaging system is also available. There’s an additional “live chat” icon in the portal, but it doesn’t function. No business hours are publicly listed, the phone goes straight to voicemail, and email replies are typically 24+ hours.

Coaching & Lifestyle

Not offered

Health coaching is currently paused. The website footer link to “Health Coaching” leads to a 404 page, and the in-portal description notes services are “being revamped” with no timeline given.

For my review, I tested and scored Lavender Sky Health across six key areas that matter most: true cost, legitimacy, patient support, shipping standards, transparency, and real customer feedback.

Here’s everything I found:

True Cost Analysis

How clear and fair is Lavender Sky Health’s pricing?

Lavender Sky Health has a 4.6 on Trustpilot and a “B” rating with the BBB, but Reddit feedback is more mixed and the clinic’s response style on negative public reviews is at times defensive rather than constructive. The pattern that worried me most was repeated reports of dosing or invoice mistakes paired with hard-to-reach support.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

The pricing page lists every option, but with three different supply models (Tier, Extended, Monthly) across 13 pharmacies, it takes real effort to decode.

Medication is invoiced after the consultation, not before. This is unusual because most clinics charge for medication up front.

No pricing claims appear in advertising, so there’s no bait-and-switch between an ad price and what you actually pay.

Pricing Breakdown

Not included

Lab work isn’t required to start treatment. Lavender Sky Health may recommend an A1C, thyroid panel, and cholesterol panel if you want a baseline, but you arrange that on your own at an estimated $175–$250.

$25

Lavender Sky Health is not subscription-based for compounded GLP-1s. You’re only invoiced when you place a new medication order or have another consultation. Brand-name medications (Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound, and Foundayo) carry a separate $25/month treatment plan fee on top of the medication cost.

Compounded semaglutide (injection)

Compounded semaglutide (oral tablets)

Compounded tirzepatide (injection)

Ozempic®

$1,000–$1,300+

Mounjaro®

$1,000–$1,200+

Wegovy®

$499 for injectable pens, $174–$349 for oral pills

Zepbound®

$299–$449 for vials, $650-$1,000+ for pens

  • Coaching and lifestyle support A “Health Coaching” link sits in the website footer, but it leads to a 404 page. In the patient portal, the coaching service is listed as “currently being revamped” with no resume date given.
  • Nutritional support Same status as coaching: Nutrition guidance is part of the paused health coaching package and not currently available.
  • Doctor consultations A $65 consultation fee covers your first provider review. You can pick async messaging or a phone visit. Refills require another consultation each time, at $40 each.

Lavender Sky Health breaks each compounded medication into Tier Plans (8–10 weeks with built-in titration), Extended Plans (3–4+ months of customized dosing), and Monthly Plans (a single vial for ~5 weeks of use). My total true cost came in around $214 for the consult plus one medication order.

85

Safety & Legitimacy

Is this provider trustworthy and properly licensed?

Lavender Sky Health has a verifiable US address, a clearly posted HIPAA notice, and discloses every pharmacy in its network. The catch is the network itself; across 13 partner pharmacies, several have active or recent FDA warning letters, and one is in active Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The clinic is also not LegitScript certified.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

The Charleston, SC address checks out, and HIPAA compliance is documented in the privacy policy. The basic legal infrastructure is in place.

Patients can choose their pharmacy from a list of 13 named partners. This level of pharmacy disclosure is rare and genuinely good.

Lavender Sky Health is not LegitScript certified. There’s no listing, no badge, and no Google or Meta advertising as a result.

Credentials Breakdown

LegitScript Certification Not Verified

LegitScript certification is the industry gold standard for online healthcare providers. Its absence means Lavender Sky Health cannot advertise on Google or major platforms, and raises questions about why the clinic hasn’t pursued this verification, especially in a category as scrutinized as compounded GLP-1s. LegitScript is not a legal requirement, so a clinic can operate lawfully without it as long as its providers and pharmacies hold valid state licenses. But it’s a meaningful yellow flag here.

HIPAA Compliant Perfect

The HIPAA privacy notice is clearly included in the privacy policy and easy to locate. No concerns here.

Clean Provider Records Minor issues

Lavender Sky Health’s own providers write the prescriptions, but the clinic doesn’t publish their credentials. This is common and not necessarily proof of fraud, but it’s notable. Across the 13 partner pharmacies, the picture is mixed. Several are clean: ReviveRx, BPI/Pharmacy Hub, Southend, Nova/AbsoluteRx, South Lake, Alchemist, and VitalRx show no FDA warning letters or state board discipline in public records. But several others are not. Apothecary Pharma in Cary, NC, was hit with an FDA warning letter on December 1, 2025, citing sterile-compounding deficiencies. Hallandale Pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale, FL, has a resolved disciplinary warning from a 2018 inspection. Empower Pharmacy in Houston, TX, is the most regulatorily troubled of the group, with FDA warning letters in May 2017, October 2021, and April 2025, plus a fresh Form 483 issued November 14, 2025. OptioRx (HQ Columbus, OH) filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June/July 2024 and continues operating under restructuring. Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, AZ, was at the center of the February 2026 Hims/Hers GLP-1 fallout. Because Lavender Sky Health lets patients choose from a pool that includes these riskier names, the network as a whole inherits the worst-actor risk in the pool, even though several individual pharmacies in it are clean.

US Address Perfect

78 Folly Road Blvd, Ste B9-1674, Charleston, SC 29407. Verifiable and clearly listed on the Terms and Policies page.

Patient Support & Comprehensive Care

How easy is it to get help from real people?

Human support exists at Lavender Sky Health but isn’t easy to reach. The portal’s “live chat” icon doesn’t function, the phone goes straight to voicemail with no callback, and email responses take at least one business day. Clinical access is the saving grace, since every refill requires a real consultation, and you can pick phone or async.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

There’s a chat icon in the patient portal, but it doesn’t actually open or connect. The portal messaging system is the only working written channel.

The phone line goes straight to voicemail, with a recording suggesting you email support instead. I left a message and never received a callback.

Email replies are noted as taking at least one business day. The 24-hour window is honest but slow compared to most clinics in this space.

Support & Care Breakdown

Live Chat Automated

The patient portal includes a “live chat” icon that has no function from what I could see. Clicking it does nothing. The actual usable channel is the in-portal messaging system, where you exchange messages with your provider, but that’s not the same as live chat support.

Phone Support Human

Phone support at (843) 259-2393 is technically a real number, but in practice it’s voicemail-only. There are no posted business hours, and the recording redirects you to email. I left a message asking for a callback and didn’t hear back. If phone access matters to you, plan around it.

Email Human

Email at info@lavenderskyhealth.com is monitored, and the reply I got was seemingly from a real person. The auto-reply makes it clear that it takes at least one business day, which sets expectations correctly but is slow next to clinics offering 24/7 chat.

Clinical Access & Oversight Good

Every refill requires a consultation, and you can pick between phone and async. That’s tighter clinical contact than most clinics, where refills auto-renew with minimal check-in. If clinical oversight is the support metric you care about most, this is a real strength.

94

Medication Handling & Shipping Standards

How well shipped and packaged are the medications?

Lavender Sky Health nailed the basics: silver insulated packaging, a large ice pack, two-day shipping, and a full instruction handbook. The one knock is that the ice pack’s condensation soaked through to the loose alcohol wipes and the brown paper wrapping the supplies, leaving the unboxing wetter and messier than it should have been.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

The medication arrived in a silver insulated bubble-wrap package with a large ice pack inside a standard UPS box. Cold-chain integrity was solid.

The brown paper around the supplies and the loose alcohol wipes were wet from ice pack condensation. I had to wipe down the package multiple times.

Tracking was provided by email but not in the patient portal, which is ironic given the portal includes nearly every other category.

Shipping Standards Breakdown

Cold-Chain Shipping Standards Perfect

Silver insulated bubble-wrap packaging with a large ice pack kept the medication cold during transit. Temperature control was handled correctly, and the medication itself arrived in good shape.

Packaging Quality & Security Minor issues

The medication itself was secure and intact. The supplies were a different story. Brown paper wrapped around the instruction handbook, sharps, and loose alcohol wipes had soaked through with ice pack condensation. This was messy enough that I had to use paper towels multiple times during unboxing to clean up moisture. None of it compromised the medication, but for an injectable prescription, presentation matters, and a sealed bag for the supplies is an easy fix here.

Supplies & Instructions Perfect

All required injection supplies were included, plus extra sharps and alcohol wipes. The instruction handbook covered storage, temperature handling, and how to inject. No prefilled syringes, so you’ll have to draw and inject yourself, but the materials covered through every step.

Tracking & Delivery Perfect

Tracking was emailed and the medication arrived in two days. The only oddity is that tracking lives in your email inbox only, not the patient portal. Given that the portal has tabs for nearly everything else (updates, invoices, summaries, follow-ups), the missing shipping tab is a strange omission.

83

Transparent Operations

How honest is Lavender Sky Health in its policies and communications?

Pricing is publicly disclosed, ads don’t make claims that need proving, no media or third-party logos are paraded around, and there are no high-pressure sales tactics deployed on the site. The headline failure is medication clarity: Oral and injectable GLP-1s are offered with no explanation of how they differ or why a patient might pick one over the other.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Pricing is published in detail. The pricing page covers every option across every partner pharmacy. Transparent in theory, complex in practice.

Cancellation isn’t a self-serve button in the portal, but support confirmed in writing that there’s no subscription and no recurring charges.

Oral and injectable GLP-1s sit side by side in the catalog. No clarity on which formulation suits which patient or how the science differs.

Operations Breakdown

Cancellation and Post-Cancellation Billing Minor issues

There’s no cancel-subscription button in the patient portal because there’s no subscription to cancel. When I sent a portal message asking how to cancel, support replied that Lavender Sky Health doesn’t operate on a subscription basis. You’re only invoiced when you order more medication or schedule another appointment. That’s honest, and the response came back without pushback. One minor gripe is that the lack of a button forces you to message support to confirm, which adds an unnecessary step.

Clear Pricing and Policies Perfect

The Treatment Plan Pricing page lists every option across every pharmacy, including how pricing changes over time as you titrate. The transparency is real. My one complaint is that the pricing page is the only place medication pricing appears. During the intake itself, prices weren’t shown alongside the medication selections, which left me uncomfortable about what I’d actually be invoiced for.

Accuracy and Authenticity of Images Perfect

Patient and outcome images on the site appear authentic, with no obvious AI-generated or stock-style imagery on the marketing pages.

Advertised Pricing Accuracy Perfect

Lavender Sky Health doesn’t appear to advertise medication pricing in ads or run first-month promotional pricing. Without an advertised price, there’s no advertised-versus-actual gap to worry about.

Media and Third-Party Validation Perfect

No media logos, no third-party award claims, and no testing or partnership claims that need backing up. Refreshingly free of unverifiable badges.

Marketing Practices and Sales Pressure Perfect

No countdown timers, no urgency banners, no scroll-jacking modals. I went through the intake without feeling pressured to upgrade or commit before I was ready.

Clarity Around Medication Types and Limitations Major issues

This is the only operations item that genuinely misses. Lavender Sky Health offers oral and injectable GLP-1s side by side in the catalog with no explanation of how they differ in absorption, dosing, or supporting evidence. Oral compounded GLP-1s have meaningfully less clinical research behind them than injectables, and a patient picking from the catalog deserves to know that. The current presentation treats them as interchangeable, which they aren’t.

35

Patient Reviews & Real Experiences

What do recent customers think?

Lavender Sky Health has a 4.6 on Trustpilot and a “B” rating with the BBB, but Reddit feedback is more mixed and the clinic’s response style on negative public reviews is at times defensive rather than constructive. The pattern that worried me most was repeated reports of dosing or invoice mistakes paired with hard-to-reach support.

KEY OBSERVATIONS

Trustpilot sits at 4.6, but several clinic responses to critical reviews read as defensive, e.g., “We respectfully disagree with your characterization of our services.”

The BBB rates Lavender Sky Health a “B” with three complaints filed, including one that was not resolved. Length of operation factors into the grade.

On Reddit, many users praise affordability and fast shipping, but several reported wrong doses, surprise invoices, and inconsistent compounding quality between pharmacies.

Who Should Use Lavender Sky Health?

  • Those who want to know exactly which pharmacy fills your prescription will appreciate that Lavender Sky lets you pick. Most telehealth GLP-1 clinics route through a black-box dispensing partner. Lavender Sky Health names all 13 of its pharmacy partners during intake and lets you choose.
  • If you pay with HSA or FSA dollars, then the flexibility here will work in your favor. Both HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and the clinic will issue a Letter of Medical Necessity on request to support reimbursement claims.
  • For those who want a real provider interaction with every refill, this clinic builds that into the cadence. Every refill at Lavender Sky Health requires a fresh consultation, and you can pick phone or async. Most clinics auto-renew with minimal check-in.
  • If you’ve been burned by sticky GLP-1 subscriptions, then the no-subscription model here is a clean break. There’s no subscription to cancel, no recurring charge to fight, and no retention script to navigate. You’re billed when you order or consult, and that’s it. For anyone who’s been burned by sticky GLP-1 subscriptions, this is a clean break from that pattern.

Who is Lavender Sky Health Not For?

  • If LegitScript certification is a hard line for you, keep looking. Lavender Sky Health is not LegitScript certified. If certified-vendor status is a hard line for you, clinics like Mochi Health or MEDVi hold active LegitScript certification and meet that bar.
  • If you want a uniformly clean pharmacy network, then this one’s worst-actor risk will worry you. Several pharmacies in the Lavender Sky pool have active or recent FDA warning letters, plus one in active Chapter 11. You can choose around the riskiest names, but the network as a whole inherits worst-actor risk. Clinics with tighter, fully clean partner networks like Fridays or ShedRx are a better fit for patients who don’t want to do that vetting themselves.
  • If you want simple flat-rate pricing, the three-tier structure across 13 pharmacies will frustrate you. The three-tier supply structure spread across 13 pharmacies is genuinely confusing. Even the reviewer notes called the pricing structure “convoluted beyond reason.” If you want a single price for a single plan, Amble or Henry Meds is the cleaner path.
  • If you anticipate needing fast support, then broken chat, voicemail-only phone, and 24-hour email will fail you. Phone calls go to voicemail, the in-portal chat icon doesn’t function, and email replies take at least a business day. If you anticipate needing fast help with billing, dosing, or order issues, this clinic will frustrate you.
  • Those who want structured nutrition, fitness, or behavior coaching won’t find it here. Coaching is paused indefinitely with no resume date. If structured nutrition, fitness, or behavior support matters, Henry Meds or MEDVi build that into the offering.

Final Verdict

OVERALL SCORE

79

Lavender Sky Health scored 75/100 in our methodology, and the strongest pieces are the ones competitors usually treat as proprietary: every pharmacy partner is named, you choose which one fills your prescription, and every refill comes with a real provider consultation. Shipping was solid, supplies were generous, and there’s no subscription to cancel.

The weak spots are real, though. The pharmacy pool you choose from includes Empower (multiple repeat FDA warnings plus a fresh November 2025 Form 483), Apothecary (December 2025 warning letter), and OptioRx (active Chapter 11). The clinic isn’t LegitScript certified. The pricing structure is convoluted. Support channels are slow at best, broken at worst. And the catalog presents oral and injectable GLP-1s side by side without explaining the meaningful clinical difference between them.

If pharmacy transparency is the feature you most want and you’re willing to vet which dispenser you pick from the list, Lavender Sky Health offers something real. If you want a tidy, certified, fully clean alternative, look elsewhere first.

Take the first step toward better health. Get evaluated now.
