Remedy Meds Review: What This Online GLP-1 Clinic Gets Right

Updated on December 29, 2025

You’ve counted macros, pushed through cravings, maybe even lost 15 pounds only to gain it back. Appetite always wins. Willpower only goes so far.

That’s why GLP-1 medications are gaining traction. But which clinic actually delivers safe, legitimate care and reliable access to meds?

In this Remedy Meds review, we’ll break down how it works, what’s included, who it’s for, and how it compares to other online GLP-1 options.

📋Our score: 7.25/10

We rated Remedy Meds across four key areas of care:

CategoryRating
Trust Cost Analysis7/10
Safety & Legitimacy8/10
Long-Term Success6/10
Customer support8/10

✅ Fast, fully online process❌ No coaching, fitness, or nutrition support
✅ No insurance required❌ Insurance not accepted
✅ Clinicians available 7 days per week
✅ Oral and injectable GLP-1 options

✅ Why We Recommend Remedy Meds

Remedy Meds is one of the best (and cheapest) online GLP-1 providers. If you are looking for a fast, affordable, and transparent way to start GLP-1 treatment, this clinic is an excellent choice.

  • Fast approval & processing: Get started quickly without long wait times.
  • Transparent pricing: Know exactly what you will pay with no hidden fees.
  • Compounded medications: Access semaglutide or tirzepatide at affordable cash prices.
  • One of the cheapest clinics: Lower monthly costs compared to many competitors.
  • Exclusive savings: $120 off your first month.

Bottom line: Remedy Meds is a great option if you want compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide and prefer to pay cash.

BUT if you are looking for name-brand medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, or Zepbound and want to use insurance, we recommend checking out the Ro Body Program.

Remedy Meds Pricing: True Cost Analysis

To start this review, we’ll take a look at Remedy Meds pricing and advertising because price transparency is one of the biggest issues I’ve seen in this industry e.g. a company advertises $179 on Facebook but after you go through the intake flow, you only have the option to pay $249. Or, you start out at a low dosage (0.25mg/week) and are paying $199 per month but three months in you need to update your dosage and now they want you to pay $399 per month.

Note: Prices are accurate at the time of publication. We update frequently, but pricing can change quickly.

Remedy Meds Medication Options

Remedy Meds actually keeps things straightforward and simple, which I like. You will have a single monthly fee, no matter which medication you choose, that includes your medication, lab work, and ongoing access to licensed providers. There are no separate membership charges, no upsells based on dose, and shipping is always free. They offer:

  • Compounded Semaglutide (same active ingredient as Ozempic and Wegovy): $299/month
  • Compounded Tirzepatide (same active ingredient as Mounjaro and Zepbound): $399/month
  • Ozempic: $1,299/month
  • Zepbound: $1,399/month

What I like most about Remedy Meds pricing is that all their medications and plans are month to month and to cancel, you just need to give them a 48 hour heads up before your next renewal date. I like this timeframe because most companies want a 14 day notification which is just too far out, in my opinion.

Now I could not find anywhere on their website or online that shows what states they serve. Since Remedy Meds uses compounded versions of GLP-1 medications, made in licensed US pharmacies, they are not available in every state.[1] Some states have regulations, so to figure out if they can help you, I would just go through their intake flow and input your address.

Also worth noting that Remedy doesn’t accept insurance, but you can pay using an HSA or FSA card. Because of not accepting insurance, I would not recommend them for name brand medication e.g. Ozempic, Zepbound, etc. I would use Ro.co instead.

But if you’re just looking for compounded medications and expect to pay cash, they’re a pretty good option price wise.

Remedy Meds Price Transparency

In terms of price transparency, Remedy Meds scores 10/10 because of their flat fee no matter what dosage you’re on. In addition, when I checked out their advertising throughout online, what they advertised is what you would pay at checkout.

Below is a video of me going through the intake flow and selecting compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide and as you can see, what they are advertising is actually what you would pay at checkout. So good job to them on that.

Note: In the video above you’ll see compounded semaglutide for $199 and tirzepatide for $299. This was because I took the video during Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. Regular prices are $299 per month for semaglutide and $399 for tirzepatide. Again, prices changes fast and frequently in this space.

Now while I appreciate the advertised prices matches the checkout price, they’ve lost points because of the Weight Loss Warranty that they advertise within the intake flow.

Remedy Meds Weight Loss Warranty

When I first filled out the intake form I said that I weighed 170lbs and wanted to get to 130lbs in the next three months. This would be a drop of 40lbs over three months. When I did this, Remedy Meds popped up a sign that said this was achievable (see below).

Remedy Meds Weight Loss Warranty

This was an immediate red flag because the CDC, and other health experts, recommend losing 1-2lbs per week because more than this isn’t sustainable and dropping weight too quickly also means you’ll lose muscle, which is something you want to preserve.

But even the 1-2lb weight loss recommendation isn’t necessarily correct. Someone who is 280lbs with a higher body fat percentage can lose more than 1-2lbs per week. And someone who is 180lbs with a single digit body fat percent shouldn’t lose 1-2lbs per week. So better advice is aim to lose 1% of your body weight per week.

Getting back to my intake flow issue with Remedy meds, if I weigh 170lbs then I should aim to lose 1.7lbs per week. Or, 20.4lbs over the course of three months. But they told me in the intake flow that losing 40lbs over three months was achievable. This is double what I should be aiming for.

While it might be achievable to lose this much weight, this isn’t safe weight loss so I’ve reduced their score within our Safety & Legitimacy Verification category (more on this below).

Now anytime I see a “Guarantee” or “Warranty”, I’m always skeptical. Most of these companies make you jump through hoops to get it and it’s largely just a marketing play. So I decided to dive deeper since they have this “Warranty” advertised on their homepage, throughout their intake flow, and on their checkout page.

It took me a while to find the details of the warranty (not a good sign) but eventually, buried in their Terms of Service, I found them. You can read them for yourself within their Terms of Service document. Scroll down to section 5 and sub section h and you’ll find the Weight Loss Warranty details. And just as expected, the details are confusing and to claiming the warranty is hard as hell to get.

I won’t bore you all the details here but in short, this warranty only applies to people who email them and opt in, you aren’t automatically opted in because you bought meds through them. And there are a ton of qualifications you must meet e.g. weekly weigh-ins and sending them videos or going to a local doctor and having them verify your weight loss.

When I checked their Better Business Bureau complaints, I found a few that mentioned not getting their money back. And reviews on Trust Pilot showed similar complaints.

Remedy Meds has a B.S. Weight Loss Warranty in my eyes and they’re just using it for marketing. For that, I’ve reduced their score as it relates to price transparency.

That being said, Remedy Meds keeps things straightforward with a single monthly fee that includes your medication, lab work, and ongoing access to licensed providers. There are no separate membership charges, no upsells based on dose, and shipping is always free.

Overall their price and transparency is a 8/10 and actually one of the better and easier programs. If they to fix their Weight Loss Warranty program, then it’d be 10/10.

Remedy Meds: Safety & Legitimacy Verification

When it comes to telehealth companies, I always want to look at the below criteria:

✓ Pharmacy Credentials: If the company is selling compounded medication we look at the pharmacies they are working with to find if they are a verified PCAB-accredited or state-licensed pharmacies with full disclosure, 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy, they follow USP <797> sterile compounding protocols, and have a physical address and phone number in the United States.
✓ Medical Screening: Comprehensive health assessments with proper contraindication checking
✓ Provider Credentials: Licensed MDs, DOs, NPs, or PAs with verifiable NPI numbers
✓ Ongoing Medical Support: 24/7 access to your care team for side effects and questions
✓ Comprehensive Care: Nutrition coaching, fitness guidance, and behavioral support included
✓ Transparent Operations: Clear policies, honest marketing, and verifiable patient outcomes

Real User Experience With Remedy Meds

With over 4,000 reviews and a 4.6 out of 5 Trustpilot rating, Remedy Meds is widely praised for its efficient service, transparent pricing, and reliable medical care.

Customers consistently describe the experience as smooth from start to finish. The team’s quick responsiveness, fast follow-ups, and clear communication are frequent highlights. Many also value the chance to consult directly with licensed providers and stay on track with labs and medication adjustments.

Here’s what a few users had to say:

Remedy Meds also earns points for follow-through. It responds to 87% of negative reviews, often within 24 hours, which adds another layer of trust for prospective patients.

What Is Remedy Meds?

what is remedy meds

Remedy Meds is a fully online GLP-1 clinic that prescribes compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, the same active ingredients found in Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Mounjaro®, and Zepbound®. The service currently operates in 49 states (Alaska is the exception).

If you qualify, you’ll pay a flat monthly fee that includes medication, labs, and unlimited provider access. Oral and injectable formats are available, and your dose is adjusted based on your progress.

Remedy Meds isn’t a coaching platform or lifestyle program. It’s a medical clinic focused solely on getting you safe, continuous access to GLP-1 prescriptions.

How Does Remedy Meds Work?

how does remedy meds work

Remedy Meds makes it simple to start GLP-1 treatment from home. From intake to prescription delivery, everything is managed through its patient portal.

Here’s how it works, step-by-step:

Step 1: Complete the Intake Quiz

Start by filling out Remedy Meds’ health intake questionnaire. This includes your medical history, weight-related goals, and current medications. It helps the provider determine whether GLP-1 medication is appropriate for you.

If you’re switching from another clinic, you can upload proof of your prior prescription. A clinician will review it to determine if you can continue at the same dose.

Step 2: Clinician Review

After you submit your intake form, a licensed provider will review it. If a live visit isn’t required, your prescription is typically written within 24 hours.

Some patients may need to book a video appointment first, which takes place on a secure platform and lasts about 25 minutes.

Step 3: Receive Your First Prescription

Once approved, your prescription is sent to a licensed US compounding pharmacy. You’ll get tracking info as soon as it ships. Delivery usually happens within seven business days, depending on the pharmacy’s schedule.

Your first shipment includes a four-week supply of medication, plus syringes and alcohol pads if you choose injections.

Step 4: Check In and Request Refills

After your third dose, you’ll be prompted to complete a refill form in your portal. This confirms your interest in continuing treatment and allows providers to review your progress.

Clinicians are available seven days a week if you have questions, want to adjust your dose, or need support.

Step 5: Submit Labs When Needed

Remedy Meds uses a five-level dosing system, in which each level corresponds to a higher strength. Providers assign your starting dose and adjust levels over time to support safe, steady weight loss with minimal side effects.

Lab testing is required after your third month of treatment and when requesting a dosage increase beyond Level 2. Some patients may also need labs earlier, based on their intake.

Remedy Meds covers the cost, and you’ll visit a partner lab like Quest or LabCorp. You can also upload results from the past 24 months if you have them.

What’s Included in Remedy Meds GLP-1 Program?

Everything essential for starting and continuing your treatment is bundled into the price:

  • Prescription GLP-1 medication, compounded
  • Labs (initial and ongoing)
  • Virtual visits and provider access 7 days a week
  • Medication supplies (syringes, alcohol pads, etc.)
  • Free shipping
  • No contracts or long-term commitments

What’s Not Included?

A few things aren’t part of the package, which may or may not matter depending on your needs:

  • Brand-name medications (on average $900–$1200 for Ozempic and $1000–$1300 for Zepbound)
  • Coaching, behavioral, or nutrition support
  • At-home lab kits
  • Insurance coverage or reimbursement

How Remedy Meds Compares

We compared Remedy Meds to three strong competitors: Shed, Noom Med, and Calibrate. While each has a slightly different focus, here’s where Remedy stands out and where others bring something different to the table:

  • Shed offers both brand-name and compounded GLP-1s, along with optional coaching. Its pricing varies by dose, and labs aren’t included, but it’s a top-tier option if you want brand-name meds or more built-in lifestyle support.

  • Noom Med builds on Noom’s coaching platform, combining prescription access with lifestyle tools in a familiar app. It supports a wide range of GLP-1 and non-GLP1 options. Labs are included, but you pay quarterly, and support is mostly asynchronous.

  • Calibrate requires commercial insurance to access brand-name GLP-1s. It includes an intensive yearlong coaching program, but you’ll pay out-of-pocket for the program fee, and compounded options aren’t offered.

Remedy Meds is best for people who want a medical-first approach with consistent provider access, flat monthly pricing, and no extra fees for labs or prescriptions. It doesn’t include coaching but keeps care simple, fast, and clinically focused.

Lab Testing: What Gets Measured and Why It Matters

lab testing

Remedy Meds requires lab work to ensure your GLP-1 treatment stays safe and effective over time. These tests help providers track your response to medication and guide dose adjustments. Here’s what’s measured:

  • A1C: Reflects average blood sugar over the past 2–3 months

  • TSH: Measures thyroid function, which can affect metabolism

  • Comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP): Monitors liver, kidney, and electrolyte health

  • Lipid panel: Assesses cholesterol levels and heart health risks

Remedy Meds covers the full cost of required testing, but you’ll need to visit a partner lab like Quest or LabCorp, since at-home kits aren’t offered. Alternatively, if you have results from the past 24 months, you can upload them instead.

Good to know: If you’re in NY, NJ, or RI, your lab order is automatically routed to BioReference. No extra steps. Your order will appear in your portal when it’s ready.

How Often Do You Need Labs?

Here’s a quick breakdown of when labs may be required:

  • Before starting: Some patients may need labs up-front, depending on medical history.

  • After 3 months: Labs are required to continue treatment past your third month.

  • Before dose increases: Labs are mandatory to move beyond dose Level 2.

  • As needed: Providers may request labs at any point based on your progress or symptoms.

Good to know: Remedy Meds uses a Level 1–5 system to structure dosage increases. Each level corresponds to a higher medication strength, with adjustments guided by your provider to support safe and effective treatment.

🎯Who Should Use Remedy Meds?

People who want medical access without the insurance runaround will feel at home here.

Remedy Meds cuts out the need for prior authorizations, long waits, or pharmacy confusion. You can start treatment quickly and reliably.

Those looking for an all-in-one compounded GLP-1 plan with no surprise fees will benefit most.

The monthly cost covers everything that matters: medication, labs, clinician access, supplies, and shipping. There’s no tiered pricing or unexpected charges later on.

Anyone who prefers direct medical care over coaching apps or lifestyle programs will be a good fit.

Remedy Meds isn’t trying to change your habits or micromanage your diet. It focuses on safe, continuous access to prescription weight-loss care.

Patients already prescribed GLP-1s who want to switch providers will find the transition easy.

If you’re coming from another clinic, you can upload your prior prescription. If approved, you can continue at the same dose without starting over.

🚫Who Is Remedy Meds Not For?

Those who specifically want brand-name GLP-1 medications as part of a flat-rate subscription.

Remedy Meds primarily provides compounded versions of semaglutide and tirzepatide. Brand-name options Ozempic or Zepbound may be prescribed upon request, but it’s unclear whether they’re included in the monthly plan or billed separately. Mounjaro and Wegovy are not available through Remedy Meds.

Anyone looking for structured coaching or behavior change tools may want a more full-service program.

There’s no in-app support, lifestyle tracking, or guided curriculum, just straightforward access to prescriptions and licensed providers.

People in states that restrict compounded medications may not be able to use the service.

While Remedy Meds operates in 49 states, compounded GLP-1s aren’t permitted everywhere, which can limit access depending on your location.

FAQs

How long does it take to get started and receive medication?

You can get started with Remedy and receive your medication in about a week. After completing your intake form, a provider will review your information and, if eligible, issue a prescription, usually within 24 hours. If a video visit is needed, you’ll be prompted to schedule it. Once approved, your meds are shipped within seven business days, and you’ll get tracking updates by email.

Will I need labs, and how often?

Yes, you’ll need lab work as part of ongoing care. Some patients may require labs before starting, depending on their intake. Labs are also mandatory to move beyond dose Level 2 and must be completed by the third month to stay on treatment. Remedy Meds covers all lab costs and partners with LabCorp, Quest, and BioReference.

What if I already have recent lab results?

If you already have recent lab results, you may be able to use them with Remedy Meds. Just make sure they’re from the past 24 months and include all required markers (A1C, TSH, CMP, and lipid panel). Upload them through your Remedy Meds portal, and if they meet provider criteria, new testing won’t be necessary.

Can I cancel or get a refund if I change my mind?

Yes, you can cancel anytime and still qualify for a refund if you’re not approved. Remedy Meds runs on a month-to-month model with no contracts, and cancellations can be made anytime through your portal. If you’re not approved for treatment, you’ll get a full refund. Once a prescription is written, though, payments are no longer refundable, even if medication hasn’t shipped yet.

Can I switch to Remedy Meds if I’m coming from another clinic?

Yes, you can transition from another provider and continue your current GLP-1 dose if it’s been less than two weeks since your last injection. You’ll just need to upload proof of your previous prescription and dosing schedule to your Remedy Meds portal. A clinician will review your information and decide whether it’s safe to keep the same dose or make adjustments.
