NET Lending Library Resource Catalog

Catalog | Lending Policies | NET Library Overview

The NET Resource Library is currently in transition. Resources cannot be checked out at this time.

The NET Lending Library Resource Catalog (PDF, 967 KB) lists materials from the NET library. We have expanded our catalog to include many new topics: food allergy, cardiovascular disease, gestational diabetes, eating disorders, and childhood overweight. Many resources are appropriate for more than one audience and are cross-referenced. For each resource listed, you'll find a description about  its format, topic, intended audience, and users. The catalog covers the following five areas:

Child Care (Pre K): Materials that can be used to teach healthful eating and nutrition to toddlers and young children in child care settings and WIC offices, as well as materials that can be used to train child care providers.
Elementary School (K - 6): Materials that can be used by teachers or child nutrition staff to teach healthful eating and nutrition to elementary students.
Middle School/High School (7 - 12): Materials that can be used by teachers or child nutrition staff to teach healthful eating and nutrition to middle and high school students, as well as materials that can be used by students for class projects.
General Food and Nutrition: Materials cover topics such as food service, special needs, eating disorders, ethnic food preparation, breastfeeding and general nutrition references.
Adult Day Care: Materials cover such topics as general nutrition, diabetes, osteoporosis, exercise and aging, special nutrition problems of the elderly and tips on shopping and cooking for one.

Note: In order to view or print the catalog, it is necessary to have the FREE Adobe Reader installed on your computer.
