Nifty Nutrition with Skill Integration Activities - Kindergarten

1998

Developed by the Arkansas NET Program, this resource provides lessons and skill integration activities that are correlated to the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT) 9 Objectives. All skills are identified and specific codes denote the SAT 9 correlates. Nifty provides sequential learning experiences and integrates "hands on" food experiences with language arts, reading and math skills as it teaches nutrition concepts. Experiences encourage children to accept a wide variety of foods and gain a foundation of healthful eating habits. The program is a partnership between the cafeteria and classroom with Child Nutrition providing food for the educational experience.

Nutrition After Childbirth: Setting a Standard for Life

Play Hard, Eat Right: A Parent’s Guide to Sports Nutrition for Children
