1998 Catalog
This catalog lists materials from the NET library. It
is divided into four chapters based on the audience or age group that would be most likely
to use the materials. Many resources are appropriate for more than one audience and are
cross-referenced. For each item listed in the catalog, specific recommendations are made
for the appropriate audience. The four chapters are:

Child Care (Pre K):
Materials that can be used to teach healthful eating and nutrition to toddlers and young
children in child care settings and WIC offices, as well as materials that can be used to
train child care providers. |

Elementary School (K -
6): Materials that can be used by teachers or child nutrition staff to teach
healful eating and nutrition to elementary students. |
|
Middle School/High School
(7 - 12): Materials that can be used by teachers or child nutrition staff to
teach healthful eating and nutrition to middle and high school students, as well as
materials that can be used by students for class projects. |

General Food and
Nutrition: Materials cover topics such as food service, special needs, eating
disorders, ethnic food preparation, breastfeeding and general nutrition references. |
