SUBJECT: Letter to Day Care Home Providers
   

Enclosed is a camera ready copy of a letter signed by Under Secretary Shirley Watkins, for day care home providers who are participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This letter was developed to convey a consistent message to all day care home providers of the benefits and responsibilities of participating in the CACFP, including the importance of complying with Program requirements.

As a sponsoring organization of day care homes, please ensure that every provider who is currently participating in CACFP receives a copy of this letter. Letters should also be distributed to new day care home providers as they enter the Program.
